We all hated Hussein, but as Mr. Trump has said, he was good at maintaing his power, and Iraq was stable during his reign. Does that mean it was bad he was deposed? Erdogan is bad for democracy, and bad for the west. Also death and war are a part of life, it's sad but neccesary for the greater good. 42 deaths pales in comparison to the number of lives Erdogan has oppressed like Kurds and Armenians.

Erdogan has made it clear that he wants to make Turkey to an islamistic god state.
I think, that he's cooperating with ISIS. Also, don't forget, that Hitler also helped Germany to unite and to stabilize itself. What happend, everyone should know.

Tosh. Yeah, sure, he brings stability- but at what cost? He continues to provoke, poke and torture the Kurds, has a nasty trigger finger, has scrapped free speech, and will soon be able to make big enough gains to change the constitution, meaning he'll simply become a Putin figure- Putin's being the model he aspires to.
And you hate Putin.
However, I don't want the military either. Not whatsoever. They wanted to appoint a 'peace council' to run the country, implement curfews and martial law. I imagine they'd have invaded Russia in the first hour.

Well, I wouldn't be surprised if Erdy set this up to benefit himself. Sounds crazy, but he's crazy.

Both the EU and USA are allied with Turkey. I also think he is helping ISIS and expressed many times how I think Turkey are helping Islamists get a passage into Europe. But if Turkey goes into civil war that passage will be made even easier bringing risk for us all. They have also captured people using Turkey as a gateway to get to ISIS and detaining them to be sent back to the country they came from. Do we want the risk of losing that so those travelling to ISIS will get free passage through Turkey as they fight their civil war. Turkey won't be intrested in anything but sorting that mess out and that will bring even greater risk to us and since the governments aren't doing enough to stop it, we need Turkey to be a stable country and if that means Erdogan in power then so be it. I am sure once we dimish the threat of ISIS we will look to rid Turkey of Erdogan and also reunite the whole of Cyprus, which Turkey claims and has settled the Northern side against International law.
Also I have read that some think that Erdogan may have staged the Coup.

I think he did, he was able to arrest a bunch of people who didn't agree with and opposed him (many high court judges for example) and is now rallying to basically bring in 'emergency' laws such as capital punishment to 'bring the traitors to justice'. Odds are after that's done he'll keep it legalised, as well as whatever else he thinks up.

Another German attack. But I guess all the cheap labour they are getting is worth it to Merkel.
Funny this, give it few more years and Poland will become major immigration destination for Western Europeans

Apparently the guy posted that he'd do this on facebook, so there is a picture of him around. But from what I've heard there are shootings in several locations. Every where there is police and helicopters. Scary to think that I was at one of these places where shootings were reported earlier today.. |

I am afraid that society lost all of its values lately, these mad idiots want TV time and "fame on social sites and they will get it by murdering people, knowig that their "message" whatever it is, will be heard by millions.
Society is sick, wake up people.

I have no idea what you mean...
Tragic events in Munich, but I think it's too soon to call this an attack by jihadists. Lots of reports suggesting that it was in fact an attack by right wing extremists - including suggestions that it could be linked to today being the fifth anniversary of Breivik's massacre in Norway. |

At some point people are going to be tired of holding hands, and wishing the best for the people who have lost loved ones, and when that happens, i'm going to be happy that i'm not a muslim.
When you have a fraction of your culture who keeps killing people in the most horrible of ways, and a big chunk of people who silently support them, it really is only a matter of time before some french guy loses it, and commits terror against a muslim institution. I hope not, but i fear that i'll be right. Maybe not today or tommorrow or in a year, but I think it's only a matter of time.
The hate is strong in the world today, and the number of people who hate are only growing.
The recent terror attack in München seems to have been carried out by neo nazi's, or far right people. I thaught it would happen i France, but come to think about it, it doesn't suprise me that Germany, a country with huge problems with neo nazis and far right people is the first place where we experience the first terror attack in a long time, not committed in the name of Islam.
I fear for the future, if we suddenly have two sides who are eager to kill innocent people based on their color and belief |

There is also the possibility that Gangs are involved in this. There were lately some problems with Gangs in Germany

Suddenly? Are we forgetting Breivik, or more recently the very much racially motivated shootings of police officers in USA?
And even without that, right-wingers have always been eager to kill. They have just done a lot less than you'd expect.

So much for the neo-nazis. Much surprise. (actually quite sad how many 'wanted' the perpetrators to be far right wing group) Whoever made that rumour had eureka, some people actually fell for it
I wonder what the excuse the newspapers will bring tomorrow, I'm pretty damn sure it's gonna be bullied and mentally unstable. But we'll see.

Yeah, I was one of those who fell for it, which makes me look quite stupid now hehe.
But there is still a mystery as to motive behind the attack. |
