Hi guys,
I don´t understand why riders in career mod decreasing their stats too early - i saw it in PCM2015 first time.
Ex.
Mikel Nieve is 31 years old, his age of decline is 33 (in db) but his stats decreasing in first year. I don´t understand it.
Anybody have the same issue? |

I have tried the exact same thing with Nieve in the second season.
A bit off topic, but i guess that you are through your first season and have started the second. Are you also having "trouble" with the favorites not attending the classics? with Sky i had 6 of the first 8 favorites in vlaander, prais-roubaix, liege-bastong-liege and so on. |

It is still there.
But as far as I know this Information is depriciated and will not be used, neither in PCM 2015 nor PCM 2016.
Stats declining is simulated differently now. For example riders can decrease in stats they don't train.
I cannot tell you where I have read it, try the forum search (in the 2015 subforums) |

Theres a lot of riders in my game too whos decreasing too early. Fx Froome 83 - 81 mountain, Zakarin 79 - 78 mountain and 77 - 74 tt, this is in the third season, and it is a lot of riders. |

That's weird. Are some of them your riders? If they are controlled by the AI, maybe it's really bad at training? |

Like I said: It is still in the DB but will not be used by the game.
That might be the reason they removed it from the editor.
And in case that still was not clear: You can ignore 'age of decline' |

I got Napolitano in my team with a decline age of 45. After two weeks, he's sprinting stats declined from 74 to 72. And this suck ofc. Did you find a fix for this or are the thread dead? |

I found that forum post your talking about. But I cant really makes sense of it:S So I cant mess with decline age? So after a season Froom, Contador, Valverde and the rest of the big boys are gone. It just ruins the Career aspect of the game |

@ Lachi - Not sure if this is the thread you were thinking of:

@ Zinnie - See the last paragraph in post 13, setting that field to zero should stop any further regression (or improvement) by your riders. I haven't tested that but in post 15 TeamDoubleDragon states that it does work. Not sure for how long, it may mean those providers will never regress further even at 40 YO. It won't undo any regression they already experienced.
Also, if that value isn't already negative then the issue is not your rider age but potentially something to do with a training mismatch. Finally, this was all based on PCM15, no idea if 16 works the same. |
