There probably should be a list of who's who, maybe you could start a discussion on the Strava group where people are meant to comment their PCM daily name.

Done with the norwegian nc tt today. Definitely the hardest tt I've ever ridden and in my opinion a little overkill with more height metres than the road race. The route itself was absolutely great, and it should be ok in a big nation like Spain/France/Italy where most participants are pros but in Norway where most are amateurs such a hard/hilly/long route is a bit too much. Huge race by Edvald Boasson Hagen, but Laengen, Vangstad, Borgersen and Breen were all inside 1.30. For myself I felt the distance and had to stop once to fix the front break hitting the wheel. Ended up almost 12 minutes back, which is bad but could have been worse. Now for the rr sunday, where I don't have any exprctations whatsoever. It is flat and technical and looks like one big kermesse, and doesn't suit this climber the least.

62,8 km, 1.54,31, 33 km/ph average. On Strava, was completely blasting it uphill today.

Also no Ten Dam and Mochema shenanigans out there today, more importantly, obviously.

Waaay to much flat again today, this time by myself, I feel a bit disgusted considering the climbs available in this area. Got in 41 km with an average of 28,5 so pretty happy after yesterdays efforts.

Im probably gonna ride close to everyday during the Tour since I hardly have hours on the job and my girlfriend left me. Gonna get more skinnyyyyyyy

28 km, 27 average. Not full gas, kinda preparing for Sunday already

Sounds good, I can't wait to get on vacation and try myself out on proper climbs as well.

Relatively hilly affair today, 35 km with 27 in average. Once again mainly thinking about a big ride tomorrow and my legs are honestly pretty smashed after 4 days...

Hopefully Im gonna kill it tomorrow on the group ride. New garmin shit, wheels and i finally got my nose sticky-sticky, totally pointless, but looks good #AC #FabuAru

100 km, 31 km/ph, 720 vertical gain.

Literally got carried and pushed through the last 20 kilometres, was shepherded, got 2 gels, water. Never been so much in the red and is extremely exhausted. Not gonna touch my fucking bike for 2 days now, I hate it.

Originally planned not to ride today and tomorrow, but took an unofficial rest day on the bike today, pure recovery. Much like the peloton today sans Fonseca.

Felt good, not really pushing, just enjoying the sun and chillin. Never really ride like this.

8th day in a row. Goddamnit, getting in monster shape ahead of Harzen now. Will try to join as many races as I possibly can in August when I really have time to put in stuff before university again.

Got around to doing Mont Ventoux yesterday after the police and ASO kept me from completion on Bastille Day. After Chalet Raynard, the last 6k were surprisingly easy and was actually flying at some point when I passed a lot of suffering cyclists. In turn, I got passed by 2-3 semi-pro guys but that's just fair on a giant such as Ventoux.

I really enjoyed the last slopes, lots of history in that place and you feel it. Mythical at best. However the toughest part were the initial steep ramps who drag on and on, on straight roads. The wind up top was rather comforting and gave even some tailwind at some point, however most of the time it was headwind but I didn't mind so much.

Hoping I can continue the little famous Tour climbs with Tourmalement and Aspin sometime soon, maybe in the next few days. On climbs like these, you are remembered that mountains and cycling truly are one.

nice riding up the Ventoux!
Was in the area once myself but didn't climb it all the way to the top. Got to the bare part but I was freezing to death (it was April) and one gust of wind blew me to the other side of the road so it was too dangerous to continue. Hope to return one day on a brighter day and climb it all the way to the top.
Or, Froome-style, run to the finish!

I did the Tourmalet and Aspin on a day last summer but it was the westerly side of the climbs from Luz-Saint Sauveur whereas I think the Tour did the easterly sides this year. The Tourmalet is very consistent around 7% either way but on that westerly side a real open cathedral of a climb - striking, rugged, open and imposing.

The Aspin on that westerly side is split in half. The first half is an easy going 3-4% then the last half a more significant 7% (great restaurant where the gradient changes to take a break!). Whichever way you go up leave time at the top of the Aspin. The summit rises to a real crest which means you can see down both sides of the peak to the valley below. It makes for a beautiful view, enjoy!

despite being fan of climbing the only climb I've ever done was the cauberg (lol) so when my father bought some virtial training movies of 4 Italian climbs (Zoncolan, Stelvio, Mortirolo and Gavia) for the Tacx Training software I thought, why not and did Stelvio yesterday. was going good imo until I accidently quit the movie after that bs in turkey happend XD. probably could have finished the final part too in just over an hour so I'm happy considering it's the first time I ever climbed a "real" mountain
