to me Oscar Pereiro Sio is a TdF winner after Landis was caught for doping was disqualified, while riding for a different team that was winning the tour for years.
so GVA will win the Tour after Porte get's disqualified for doping and Froome will retire during the tour and get's caught for systematic dope use in 2021 after returning in 2019?
honestly the story would be perfect if Froome retired this year and this story happend next year
As an avid BMC supporter having the yellow jersey again brings back good memories Also hope that stages will be as exciting as this one was, but no TdF will ever beat that of 2011

The last 2 stages, maybe not in the near future, but the rest? Give me 2012 over that, honestly.
Honestly, I thought about that too. More in the vein of 2004 than 2011. Like GVA can't be that much worse of a climber than Voeckler was in 2004, can't he?

Don't really know..team has TVG and Porte to look after. More they keep helpers fresh for 3 weeks then better.
Same question for Movistar..you need all the guys for 3rd. week , to beat Froomy

I doubt that, I'd be more confident that de Gendt can do that, but with the Mountain points he collected I think he will look more after that.

Only the last 2 stages? There were some really good stages spread over the 3 weeks of the 2011 Tour. Stages 4, 8, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19 were all great days of racing

Tinkoff tactics today was shocking ,the sooner Contador leaves that team the better pathetic leaving your captain isolated while you got 2guys up the road WTF.
What do you expect? Oleg got tired of his toy and pulled funding for the team past this season so why wouldn't the Tinkof guys ride for themselves when the team leader is cooked and they need contracts for next season. The Tour is the biggest showcase of your talents to prospective employers

2011 Tour was honestly my favorite I've ever watched (which isn't very many, 2009 was the first one). All the mountain finishes had multiple attacks. Also will never forget Voeckler in yellow.
