G'Day All, As i write this it is 5hrs 45min until ACTIVATION happens.Banana
A couple of questions i have is that as i am thinking about building stages again as it has been about 4-5yrs since i have built and uploaded them.
1st. Does anyone know if the stage editor is the same as last year.
2nd. The reason for the first question is that i made quite a few stages for myself and playing around with different ways of modifying the profile of the stage. In doing this i design the profiles of the climbs to give a Finish Result and Racing Results in the way the REAL WORLD climbs are ridden. By that i mean as an example i did away with the Actual profile data of the Mur de Huy in the Fleché Wallonne which is Avg9.3%-Max26%-Leng1.3km-Elev204m and inserted my own. Which is the same Elevation however the climb is a little longer and the Profile Max% is a little less however i found the ingame AI gives a result in terms of Winners and Top 20 riders almost the same as REAL WORLD results. I build the climb to finish where the Event Map/Profile has it marked but i drag the climb out from the bottom instead of starting with 1.3km to the finish of the climb i start the climb at 2.0km to the finish of the climb.
The results i have had in running the Fleché Wallonne which is 10 times in a row is that it almost gives REAL WORLD results and REAL WORLD RACING. There is still a steep pinch in the climb that is NOT 26% but about 18%.
So my long winded Question is Would people be interested in Stage Profiles like this being uploaded? (I also modified Paris - Roubaix Cobble sections to give REAL WORLD racing which it does).
Thank You in advance.
***And yes it does take a few attempts of Modify-PCMRace-Modify-PCMRace to get the right results in Racing and Result of the Event. |

I don't have answers for you, but that mindset is surely promising. Looking forward to seeing some of your stages
Inactive due to personal reasons.

1: I have seen no signs that the stage editor would change. On top of that the file types used are the same as last years, so I'm 95% sure you can load older stages up in the new editor (though I have not seen it yet, I might be in for a surprise )

I would like to see your stages, but as Selwink pointed out, we don't see, how the stage editor would change...

Sorry for the delay in replying been very busy with work, i would like to be busy with Stage Building but the SE seems a way off if ever in being available.
As for the my Flèche - Wallonne i will be looking at that being my first profile out of the blocks mate.
All we need is that 2016 Stage Editor |

Well the Stage Editor is out and once i get familiar with it i will be building FLECHE-WALLONNE. It will be my interruption in regards to building climbs that give a real-life feel when climbing them. |

G'Day Guys and Gals,
I am in need of some help, i know it has been a couple of years since i was building a large volume of Stage Profiles however i have built a couple of different profiles using the gmx/kml option and i would like to compare these profiles with my tried and true option of building a Stage by tracing a Stage Map and then play with the Stage Profiles.
So my long winded question is has the naming a .bmp file 512x512 or 1024x1024 and 2048x2048 changed with this NEW Stage Editor. I ask because you could previously size a Official Event map that was downloaded resize it to one of the three previously stated sizes then install that it the TOP VIEW part of the editor and everything was sweet, but it seems not with the CURRENT Editor.
I would be extremely grateful for the exact process if still available that is in installing a Map into the editor WITHOUT any gmx/kml files. So just an image map.
Or is it a typical cyanide product
