Yeah, apart from him being the only reason he actually has a job on a team such as Tinkoff... like seriously, I don't feel bad for Jesus Hernandez either.
Decent jersey holders. Had hoped to see the Spanish or French on a more prominent rider, but looks like we will have 3 in the sprints (EBH, Dylan and Greipel). Tekle is nice. so is Majka and Kreuziger. Thats at least 6 relevant riders for July. |

Jalaphilippe was amazing at french championships, covering and making so many moves. Brutal racer.

I can see him taking a stage at the tour with a full train working for him, he's been surpassed that's for sure but he's canny enough to pinch a stage

Disagree, he is past it. I can't see how he should be able to win if not for Greipel and Kitel completely missing the boat and even then, I think there are faster folks out there..
Etixx with the trade of their life. And they also got Jungles, those bastards. |

It's not always about being the fastest when it comes to sprinting, if the Cavendish/Renshaw combo can get it together and position themselves correctly on a stage then he can topple the two germans, yes it's going to be tough for him but he still has the craft to pull off a stage win

You are right, but chances are he won't win a stage when you can't beat Blythe and you have been outclassed the whole season |

He has been in average form by his standards but has won races this year, it didn't really surprise me that he was beaten at the nationals, did he even have a teammate at the race? Cavendish has always struggled without some type of leadout support and especially when he isn't in flying form. Also Blythe isn't hopeless, he's no star but is a solid Dom who rarely gets to ride for himself so took his chance and bagged a win. National road races often throw up winners who usually play the roll of Domestiques with their Pro teams.

You know what this means, right?
Sagan must now win WC again, if he wants to keep riding in champion kits!
All part of the master plan Sagan! |

You really defend Cavendish with tooth and nails, don't you Strydz?
He got beaten in a regular sprint by Adam Blythe. Hasn't come close to any win of significance and is also prepping for Olympics. I think this smells like some kind of bet. |

Unfortunately, chances aren't too big considering the amount of money sheiks are able to bribe the UCI with.. |

Guys is it true that Slovakia and Czech Republic both race in same times and in the same course?

What has the oil money and bribery got to do with Sagan's chances at repeating his Worlds win? Is it because the course is flat? He still has a shot if the winds are up and it's raced hard, he's a proven quantity over a classics distance and knows how to take the race to the stronger teams

Yes, he would effectively be the favourite if not for a) a pan flat route and b) something like Rio 2016. 90% of the WC routes tends to be something in between. |
