Don't underestimate Martin Toft Madsen, he's been getting better and better each year, and his strength is definitely TT's.
He's a very small and light rider compared to other TT specialists. He'll now be in contention for a spot for the Worlds in Dubai - and you don't just beat riders like Valgren who's in great shape, by coincidence, his win was fully deserved, and he demolished every other riders apart from Valgren and Asgren. He beat Quadde by 2:24, Würtz Schmidt (u23 World Champion) by 2;45, Norman Hansen by 2:35 and Juul Jensen by 2;46.
The NC kit will be made this weekend, I've made the kit for the team he rides for, for the last 2 years, so I'll be making the NC kit as well
Have you been doing the latest Almeborg shirt? Cause the one in the Daily DB isnt the updated shirt with black "chest". Looking forward to the national jersey! |

To add to that he's former amateur ITT World Champion (2013 & 2014) so he definitely knows what he's doing. A huge surprise obviously, but it's not shocking as he is not a nobody in Danish cycling.

Guess who's the new german ITT champion!
Spoiler Surprise! It's Tony Martin.
1 Martin, Tony 00:49:14.01 49.97
2 Sütterlin, Jasha 00:50:53.61 00:01:39.60 48.34
3 Politt, Nils 00:51:37.76 00:02:23.75 47.65
4 Gretsch, Patrick 00:51:51.85 00:02:37.84 47.43
5 Westmattelmann, Daniel 00:52:43.88 00:03:29.87 46.65
Bloody darn shame that Küng crashed and got injured.
And Pinot...impressive.

Haha, no, not at this big scale. Only some tiny pic of the race's profile that gave me the impression of it being like an undulating classics profile. But now, well, you're absolutely right.
Agree with Riis123 there, more fun to see brightly colored NC jerseys at WT races on live TV than only on some pictures in an after-race report on cyclingnews from some 2.something race. |

Pinot had won regardless of route I'd say, I had expected him to win bigger on this particular one honestly.
Any clue to which RRs will be televised? I know DK's will and I caught Italy's and England's last year so I'd assume they're on again. Spain, France, Belgium? |

British Eurosport have been showing highlights of last years race this week. I assume that is leading up to them showing this years race as well. |

Dutch NC will be televised as well (though the broadcast already starts around 11:30 AM tomorrow)
