Lebron is GOAT, right there next to His Highness Air Jordan, they can now sit on the throne together!

Back to back triple doubles for him to finish the team with best regular season record of all time, there is only one king in this game. Cool

True Michael Jordan Wink

I was reffering to present time obviously, but see above, i think that Lebron is already there with Micheal for GOAT.

Even Michael was not carrying his team to titles like Lebron does, some would also say, that he had better teammates in likes of Pippen or Rodman. (not that Kyrie is bad though).

Btw. this discussion will never have some "result" acclaimed by many. Jordan and James are simply two best players in NBA history, it does not matter who was better. Grin

I strongly disagree, Lebron choked too much in the past. If he wins a few more titles, okay we can start comparing him. MVP of the playoffs was of course more then deserved, but over the season Curry was better. Bryant before his injuries was equal as well. Jordan was the best undisputed.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

LOL What? Kobe is several levels under Lebron in terms what effect he had on teams he was present in, he also never was a great defender, unlike Lebron.

He had Shaq as sidekick for his best years, he would do half a success without Shaq, he was never efficient player. Wink

Lebron carried the team like the true cornerstone, also last year he gave GS a tough challenge, while Love and Irving were injured...

Kobe shot under 45%FG in his career, Lebron has 49,8%.

Lebron has more points per game in career (27.2 to 25), more rebounds (7.2 to 5.2), more assists (6.7 to 4.7), more steals (1.7 to 1.4) and more blocks (0.8 to 0.5). He laso shot better 3p percentage.

Curry obviously had an incredible regular season, but you know what, NBA titles are not awarded for regular season. Grin
Finals exposed Curry and his weaknesses in full light. When he is not dropping incredible shots two metres behind the arc (you simply have to start missing from there), he is shadow of himself. Lebron with Kyrie destroyed his impact in Finals, leaving him frustrated...Klay Thompson and Draymond Green were actually better for GS than Curry, who had almost as many turnovers as assists during Finals.

Lebron is legend only comparable to some of the biggest greats of the game like Jordan, Russel, Chamberlain, Magic, Shaq or Bird, certainly not overrated Bryant...

Feel free to put Lebron in that list, just leave Jordan out of it then. Jordan was the best ever, period. If you can accept that, we can have a nice debate over who was second best Smile

James and specially Kyrie was amazing on those last games.
Still I hate NBA one man show PR. Teams winning basketball games.

At least Golden State team as capability for that..every man is able to throw points and steal a show.
Still article next day will be ..Curry won a game

Avin Wargunnson
Of course he was the best ever, because he was different and looked like the player from the future. But this is always like that with legens of the past, they have the aura of the past and of greatness which grows by time, even overgrowing the real impact.

Muhammad Ali in boxing
Jordan in basketball
Gretzky in hockey
Pelé in football
........

Those were all incredible athletes, but i think it does not mean we cant compare present athletes with them.

For me, Ronaldo and Messi are not worse than Pelé. Oscar de la Hoya is not worse than Muhammad Ali, with 10 titles in six categories.

We cant jst glorify the past, we have to enjoy the present.
And Lebron is god of basketball, that is fact. Grin

Yeah, this is not just basketball, we can see that with all sports, also cycling. It is sad, but it works like that, because of marketing and value...

Real fans know that team is them ost important thing and Lebron knows that too. But when onbe player leads the Finals in every stats category, you cant simply look away from that. Smile

Cavs are great team, even Love got his shit together for last two games in series, Kyrie was awesome, J.R. Smith is also great player and this goes for every part of the puzzle.

*disclaimer --> im a big warriors fan (not bandwagon, I've liked them since the stephen jackson, monta ellis, we believe teams), so i might be biased*

I'm going to hacve to disagree with your comparison, I think Ronaldo and Messi and de la hoya are less completely dominant than Pele and Ali respectively.

But ill agree with your point that Lebron is the most dominant player in the NBA right now and maybe ever. Sure he might have choked a few times, but he's been to 6 straight nba finals, I honestly think that's harder to do now than it was in Jordan's era (Ik Jordan didnt technically go to 6 straight finals but i mean he basically did)

In regards to these finals, i'm gonna be honest, the NBA lost a lot of credibility in my eyes, that Draymond Green suspension might have been warranted, but game 6 and all those steph curry fouls was absolutely outrageous. But in the end Cleveland won and thats that

Avin Wargunnson
NBA indeed lost some credibility because of Green. But not as you see it, but because he should be suspended earlier in the playoffs, for kicking the OKC player in the balls on purpose. He also sets lot of illegal screens and shady plays. Green is disgusting (yet awesome) player. Wink

For me it was Kyrie who was the man to decide the finals. Additionally some stange calls too, but in my opinion a very well deserved victory for Cleveland.

Fixed that for you.

I just caught up on the game, watched the last game, I haven't been able to watch any playoffs and barely any basketball this year. Got into it with Curry and Ellis in 2010-2011, but ironically, my interest has faded the last 2 years when Golden State has been the best team in basketball

In enjoyed the final. Curry was disappointing, but Irving definitely is one of my favs and there is nothing better to see him dance on folks and make insane layups, he is extremely gifted. Glad Lebron got this ring in Cleveland, he deserves it. But as good as Jordan? Nah mate.

Well a few years back Dwyane Wade kicked Ramon Sessions in the nuts, and although it wasn't called, the NBA had the chance to go back on it and didnt

Do i think Green deserved a flagrant for that one yes, but the one on Lebron is clearly unintentional where the one on Adams was

Also Green is awesome, he talks trash and backs it up, and when he gets beat, he admits it
I love players like that, like Richard Sherman and such, and the Bay never has players like that, so it's a nice change of pace

Also green does litterally everything, i mean he led the warriors in assists this season

Watched the game till 5am. So glad I stayed up because I witnessed greatness!
