Pro Cyclist falling through the peleton

As the title says I often experience my rider in the pro cyclist mode seem to want to ride in the back of the peleton. Using the effort of cause he can come back on in the first part of the peleton, but as soon as I stop the effort and use the maintain position he falls all the way back again. And no the peleton don't ride fast and the number effort thing is not blinking red.

This happens both when he has a good daily form and when he has not. Also in stages when he the favorite. It is very annoying.

Has anyone else experienced this and have you found a way to come around this except using effort?

I have the same issue. I can only do the same as you do....effort...

You can right click on another rider in the peloton, and select the small dot. That's an option that lets you take a certain place in the peloton.

Exactly.

It was approximately the first thing I learned in the game when I started playing the series last year. Smile
