Hope he goes well for you!
He's a great rider, who usually is around the top 5 or top 10 in most hilly races. Then once a year he massively overperforms and wins a HC stage race, like Britain in 2015 or South Africa in 2014. |

@the_hoyle - Thanks!
@Froome_Dog, sgdanny - I certainly hope he can animate some races and score some points. I'm sure he'll be very valuable to get us closer to the top 10 of the PCT standings!

The Corba comes to Africa! Despite having other plans in mind, we've secured our biggest transfer of 2016! The PCT field is packed with climbing talent, but not everyone has the history or experience of Riccardo Ricco. In addition to big mountains Ricco is good on short, punchy climbs too which we hope will distinguish him from his opposition!
Word of thanks goes out to SotD for the business - I'm sure we're both happy with what we got out of the deal!
| Riccardo Ricco | €460k | 33y/o | 4.100 | | Festina-Canal+ |

Back-up stats to die for. Though he may have not the mtn stats of rival PCT riders, I'm sure he'll hit them hard nonetheless.- MTN-HL combo <3 Much like Cunego, Ricco has a legacy not only to defend but to extend here. He'll do great.

Damn Cunego, Roche, Martin and now Ricco to battle for the Hill/Mountain races it seems, these guys have a lot of history. Gratz with him though, but would rather have seen Abal xD

@Shonak - Certainly hope that combo will push him above some of the rest, same goes for the back up stats. He's a potent rider, he should score points at every race and I think the chances that he will "flop" at some races (like GC guys do) are fairly slim.
@sgdanny - I don't know hey, Ricco could very well do better than Abal would've done. Only time will tell!
Strengthening our Support & Cobbles Alongside some big signings, we've made some strong additions to our support structure and we signed our cobbles leader! Shaun-Nick Bester is a solid all round domestique for us, but will be our outright leader on cobbled races! Admittedly, he jokes about actually chasing results in cobbled races and insists his real value lies within his strength as a team mate. Yanjani Sakala was scouted for his power on flats and his love of breakaways - and amazing bike skills!

Did somebody say climbers? While we might not have the absolute best climbing leader, we do like to brag about our depth in that department. Vadim Ratiy is our latest addition and despite being lackluster for Movistar-USPS in the Pro Tour, we hope he can get some good results with us. Having Eastman and Ricco already on the team, Ratiy will have minimal pressure to perform and can instead seek to be more aggressive and take some chances.
| Vadim Ratiy | €400k | 28y/o | 4.100 | | Movistar-USPS |

Strengthening the Style Department In somewhat of a late deal, we're happy to have Tom Dumoulin join us! The transfer with Aegon-Lavazza had us say good-bye to George Bennett, but has us greeting Dumoulin and some spare cash .We hope Tom can strengthen our TTT roster for Tour of Vancouver and Tour of South Africa. He will also adopt the role as hairstyle mentor for some of the younger guys.
| Tom Dumoulin | €50k | 26y/o | 4.100 | | Aegon-Lavazza |
71 | 59 | 68 | 78 | 75 | 76 | 70 | 52 | 65 | 67 | 66 | 60 | 78 |
Perhaps Tom could share some valuable hairstyle wisdom to his team mates

Very nice signing. Not sure if I agree about the hair tho.

Not on par with Kittel or Degenkold, but is certainly better than Ricco.

Those were different times back then. In terms of hairstyle, I'm glad they are far behind us.

I'm jealous of your african talents, and the fact you have africans
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

I really like the look of your team - think you'll be right in the thick of the promotion fight. I am curious as to how you let Bjartne get Van Niekerk for a 50k wage though? |

Thanks! Will have to see about promotion though. All these 80+ Mountain guys in PCT is making me nervous. I'm just looking for a top 10!
Yea that was kind of a mistake on my part.
