The quality of game actually didn't change a lot. What bothers me the most is that this just shows how thin in centre midfield England are, after Dier and Alli there's nobody. |

Why Drinkwater should be here. Top class centre mid.

I think everyone with some sort of common sense would understand that Drinkwater and Noble would have been much better choices than Wilshere and Henderson, but apparently Hodgson lacks exactly that. |

Luckily, Vrba finally made the changes I'd been crying out for- he brought off one of Plasil or Rosicky(no dynamism), pushed Limbersky and Kadrebek up the pitch, went wide and looked for the overlap- they were so narrow they were essentially passing into that midfield three of Kovacic, Modric and Rakitic- and put Necid up front and used him as an outlet.
Stupid it took so long. But fantastic result.
