The riders falling were Gougeard and Laporte. Hope it's nothing too bad.

Without sounding too cocky, there is a reason why I make €€€ on cycling and lead Velogames.
Damn, I sound like a douche. Hit me, right in the stomach. |

There's also a reason why you have that eyesore as an avatar.
Just saying...
Nice call, though. Again. Who are you bribing? |

Sometimes I get in trouble and get emotionally involved - thats the reason I lost that bet. I need to stop that and stick to my powermeter and robotic-tendencies. You can call it a Froome/Contador-dilemma... in the end, Froome always win |

I think Contador is deliberately lazy driving because he wanted to hand over the yellow jersey to someone else before tomorrow's mountain stage. |

No way. I only got into the action with 3 kms to go (lucky that the peloton soft-pedalled) but Froome is far superior to Contador. He can pull much higher wattages in finishes like this and by the looks of it, Contador was isolated. Contador won't just deliberately hand the jersey over, especially not to Froome.
I don't think its lazy. A combination between Contador had not help, Froome is better on the flat and probably also that he doesn't want to risk it mixing it up with the sprinters. |

Umm,the split was because of a crash inside the last 3 kms. |

I tried to bet on today's stage and I missed the cutoff by like one second.
And it was EBH I picked...

I think the crash made the group string out even more and then the gaps appeared on the narrow last km.So grey area imo. |

Contador will not care about Dauphine result/ win. He will be glad to give that jersey away finally |

Yes, he will especially be happy to throw it right in the laps of Froome!
What nonsense. Alberto always rides to win, so does he this week. He has never won this race and is racing against Dawg, he wants to show he is boss. The rule of thumb is whatever Contador says, he does the opposite - he cares about this win. |

Nonsense?
Only Froomy seems to be motivated..and every time he crossing a line searching ..where is Contador.
Bertie is just giving away 4sec. ..8 sec.
Motivated / top form Bertie will never make those rookie mistakes at easy stages like these so far.
Does he look like in 7th. heaven at podium? |

Well that's simply not true, he's always treated the Dauphine as prep and never goes to deep to try and win the race

The crash wasn't the reason there were gaps with the big favourites, if you look at where it happened you will see most of the big favourites were in front of it

Now starts the mountain stages. Contador loses obviously to Froome, though not as many minutes as he always loses in TDF, as Froome is not in this form yet
