Viviani nowhere to be seen today. Shouldn't have bet on him.

Poor bastard...let's hope he is ok.

Watching overhead showed just how dominant Greipel was but also noticed Ewan got checked a few times so think he could of finished a few places higher which is a good sign as he was blown away in the NL stages

Greipel only good springer left, easy for him

Well no there were other good sprinters left as they guy who finished second is damn fast

As I said in my edit I overlooked Demare (who could be the new first in sprint classement if I'm right?)

Well I wouldn't be expecting Viviani to be anywhere unless it's flat this Giro, he's been racing and training for the track in Rio this year so he's lost some of the climbing ability

Nice. Very nice.
Greipel the sprinter of power. Kittel might be the fastest, but Greipel is damn impressive on a finish like this. Nice day for Lotto, really deserve it after their hard work today!

Oh that's right, he's aiming for the Olympics this season. Well then I know who not to bet on on hilly sprint stages this year. Pfft

Jungels hands down the most impressive so far in the Giro. Glad I have placed a few monetas on him for various competitions, he will probably be one of the best tomorrow again, but he will encounter some problems later on when he is firing on all cylinders now..

So Jungels and Preidler should gain 4 secs aswell?
And where was Nizzolo? Where the cobbles too hard for him?

Kittel is at least one level better than everyone else in the world on stages without complications.

Once its +200 and a few hills, he is gone. Not a very flattering bike rider to me, but he is damn impressive nevertheless. He will win those flat, straight sprints 8/10 against Cav, Kristoff, Greipel etc.

I would much rather celebrate the harder sprinters like today, but we have gone over that time and time again ( not you Pfft ), so lets not go there again!

Well at 188 cm's and 82 Kg's (maybe more) he's always going to struggle on days with rolling hills, he's a beast and to be more competitive in these types of stages he'd have to lose mass which would blunt his speed.
I like that we have different types of top sprinters at the moment as it makes it more interesting

Yep, I don't blame him at all. He is a one trick, just like say a climber like Rujano or Rasmussen, but is the best at the world without any comparison at that. Why change when you'll have 4-6 opportunities in every GT? On the other hand, you could argue that losing a little weight so he would be able to survive would net him even more wins considering he simply is that dominant and Cav and Greipel at this point is above 30 and you must assume they are on the decline by now, Cav is at least.
All I say is that I simply enjoy watching these sprint stages much, much more than the 'regular' if you get my drift, but obviously, there should be space for everyone.

It does not work like that. Loosing he's weight and be better climber meaning loosing sprint speed and power. Better be best flat sprinter.
Like..trying to be better climber to complete as GT rider ..so many TT dynamites have lost TT ability. Modern cycling is more and more about speciality..Kittel (sprinter)...Martin (TT dominator)..Quintana (climber). There are some freeks around ..like Sagan

If you actually read my posts and is willing to actually try to understand what I write, I think your responses will be much better.

I'll break it down:
1. Kittel is super dominant
2. If he loses a little weight, he might still be the best sprinter since he at the first place is super dominant
3. But now he can potentially win harder stages as well
4. Might result in him winning even more bike races.
