Fairly uneventful mtf. Quintana attack and chasers done for the day. Good stuff by Zakarin tho. He has the worst style in the peloton (that sprinting ugh uuugh..) but he is a fairly attacking rider, so at least the viewer profit a bit from him unlike with the ever boring-to-watch Majka and Mollema.
Good to know that Rolland will continue with tag-team action at Cannondale too.

What happened to TVG? BMC has this race as a very high priority but results gonna be under expectations obviously...

TVG tried to go with the first counter attack then imploded after that small group was caught by the chasers. Finished down in 20th slightly down on Dumoulin and Thomas. |

YES!
Stupid by Zakarin. He had literally won it, but that swing was completely unnecessary, basically giving the jury an option for award it to Quintana in my opinion. Its obviously biased, but Zakarin can only thank himself. |
