LLS wins atop Foia ahead of Thomas and Roglic (who?) and Izagirre. Contador 24 seconds down. Gesink, Rosa, Stybar and Oliveira also made an attack earlier on that climb.

LLS AND ION
Contador, dafuq? Not good signs at all, but lets wait for the Malhao, hopefully he will be better. |

Also funny to see that Valverde wasn't happy at all with Lobato, all he had was to hold on to his wheel and he would be first with 200 metres to go. |

Roglic
LLS
Contador Probably another 2013 style season for Contador it looks like.
Bouhanni winning in Andalucia was good.
Also Kristoff is in a great shape. |

Roglic showed good climbing skills last year... At Jumbo he could become a solid racer along with Battaglin, Campenaerts and the youngster Vermeulen. |

Digesting the result, it should ring some alarms for Contador and his supporters. Looking forward to hear the post race and even more Malhao...

Algarve being ridiculous with gaps again 9-17 should get Benoot's time instead they all get +1 sec for like every position. Come on now.
Tony's favourite for GC for me. Turbo Thomas and LLS will be close though. |

I wasn't expecting Roglic to be this good at this level. Great addition for LottoNL. Battaglin, on the other hand, at least for me, has bee a major disappointment so far.

Indeed this is weird. Today it was at least a mountain top finish. Yesterday in the video they finish just like in any other sprint finish. Possibly the first 3-4 should get a 1s gap. But then there shouldn`t be any gaps.
LLS has an impressive early form. Back to his old days it seems. Wouldn`t be surprised if he even beats Tony Martin tomorrow. Same goes for Ion Izagirre, which is nice to see as he keeps improving step by step with every season. |

Yes, it's not a good sign but I don't want to overdramatize it ofc. Seeing as how Tinkoff has paced and Contador even led the peloton over the Pompa, cat. 2 climb a few kilometers from the finish, it indicates that he was clearly gunning for victory here but was then let down by his own legs by not being able to follow the attacks. It is surprising to say the least, given recent comments and how sharp he looked. Meanwhile Froome and Nibali have hit the ground running and are ready to launch fireworks this season..
Thinking about it, 24 seconds at those riders is actually too bad to mean something if you get my drift *looking for excuses*

It will be interesting to see how Tom Dumoulin does on tomorrow's mountain stage. Has he kept his Vuelta form?

great stuff Roglic, would be amazing to see the guy making his way up to good WT level...started cycling really late, he could have some huge sleeping potential getting better and better that fast...

When I wake up tomorrow (yeah, kinda fucked sleep schedule) I'm pretty sure Nibali has killed people on Green Mountain. Bardet 2nd, Allez! |

Pfingsten and De Haes really going for the most aggressive rider in Oman.
First was in the break on stages 1,2,4 while De Haes was on 1,2,3 but missing out today.
Will be interesting to see their little battle on the last 2 stages. |
