From what I've read about him is that he's a handy climbing allrounder who's done well with the opportunities that he's got, Lotto Jumbo won't have a massive budget so picking up a rider like this is a good move, low risk high reward and they have him a 2 year deal and weren't the only team who was speaking to him

I somehow like this move.
It will be interesting if Cam Meyer can find his form from 2012/2013 again, where he was a nice 2nd tier GC option. Also a very solid worker.
Definitely no Meintjes replacement but at least could help out here and there with the right form. |

Moving away from OGE was needed for him, after he had some success in one week stage races the pressure came on to perform over 3 weeks which he just doesn't have the engine for so heading to a team like this is a good move and he is certainly young enough to find that form where he can do well in one week races and go stage hunting in a GT, he will also be handy on the front of the peloton bringing back to the breaks and upping the pace for Cavendish

Arashiro goes to Lampre on a 1-year deal.
Yeah spotted that, it was listed confirmed to Nippo but guess it wasn't. Lampre is a better spot for him anyway because he's still a WT level rider
