Professional Cycling Reborn
What?
Yet another management game you could say. Both yes and no would be the answer.
In this the focus will be building the right team and hoping the general management can handle the rest.
That means no detailed race planning and no need for reporters which is often the two most time-consuming parts of a game.
The season will be 99% quick-simmed and generally be reported through montly updates going over the rankings and the most important race results.
So the only way you can affect the race planning is through choose of focus regions and for PCT teams wildcard-applications. The rest is up to the game itself. Who will go where and how will the talents be trained?
The game will be started with Daily's 2014 DB for PCM14 for several reasons:
1. I don't have PCM15
2. The 2014 DB is bigger than Jesleyh & Co's 2015 DB
3. EPIC was in 2014 when it ended.
In the initial phase EPIC will spill over in this game a bit.
EPIC-Managers have the right to call shot-gun on their EPIC team, unless it have disbanded and isn't in the DB used.
18 and 19 year old EPIC riders will be added to the DB if requested by their creators. Older riders will not be included for the sake of balancing.
That is the extent of EPIC's direct influence on this game.
Teams:
In principle all teams are available, but CT teams only through promotion to PCT, which will then cause a team to relegate.
Promotion to PCT happens by selecting and then you will get the chance to fill up the numbers through drafting of FA's and riders from relegated teams/CT teams that didn't get selected as well as signing of the EPIC riders that are carried over. Details will follow.
How do you get in?
You will pick a team and a back-up team in case the EPIC-manager of thet team wants to continue with it.
You will also pick a focus country and up to two additional focus areas for racing, which is what the game uses as base of picking races for you.
The focus countries will affect regulations of the draft rounds as well.
Apart from EPIC managers getting precedence to their EPIC-team teams will be distributed through first-come first served.
EPIC rider entries:
Post the name of your EPIC rider and the team you wish him to join, or if you want him added as a FA. You may even add him to your own team since the role playing is not part of this game and you will not have the chance to affect his future once the sign-up windiw closes for now. So consider your decision thoroughly.
Squad size limits also apply when signing EPIC riders.
When team selection is done we will begin the drafting.
The draft will be using a serpentine system, where the order is randomly assigned.
However teams who will need many riders to fill up numbers will enter the draft sooner than those only allowed to draft a few riders.
You will only be allowed to draft riders of 30 years or older from your focus nation and U23 rider drafting will be restricted on varying levels as well. Details will be posted when we get to the draft.
Example:
Team A may draft 5 riders
Team B may draft 2 riders
Team A will then get through 3 draft rounds before Team B gets to draft.
That brings us to team size limits:
I am only going to set upper limits. If people want 10-rider team to start with then that's fine by me, but no one should be disadvantaged for having a small team.
Upper limits reached through drafting is:
WT: 30 riders
PCT: 26 riders
Those are the squad-sizes of the biggest teams in the division as of the DB.
After that there will be staff drafting of trainers where every team will be assigned three coaches to assist in training of young riders.

It's not the moser user-friendly at the moment as you'll have to cross-reference teams and regions with other sheets, but that will get better before the draft kicks of.
For now you have an easy way to see the stats in the DB and start thinking about draft picks and sackings should you wish.
