Nice! This is exactly the reason why I brought Gough to my team a few years ago - superb lead-out, at least on PCT level for my sprinter. Great win for Vesely and a decent 6th for Gough. Overall 7th for König is also a good result. A little bit unexpectedly a really good race for my team.
Thanks for the reports trekbmc!

Wow Kip such a retard. Spending all his energy to get 4 tiny points for the sprinters jersey, even though he had none before. After seeing he sprinted at the intermediates it was no surprise for me to see him finish 8th. I bet with a smarter more energy conserving strategy he could at least have finished on the podium here.
So Gyung Gu Jang's third in the young rider standings is the only positive news coming from that race.
Thanks trekbmc for all those quality reports. |

Really cool to see Vesley being pretty successful already in his young MG career after I had him under contract as level 1 rider. Not sure if this was his first win ever (doubt so) but he had solid results already last season.
Impressive to see Becherovka now also scoring decent in PCT races, which surely will help them in the fight against Vesuvio and Festina.
Also Pendleton`s scoring here and there in those smaller races once again. |

Great sprint train there on the last stage, shame Sam couldn't make good use of it. Still a good race for us with that stage win, thanks for the fast and high quality reporting trek.

God I hate the Internet here, means I've only just been able to see our awesome stage win, Rohregger did relly well infront of the home crowd and the fact he's finished 12th on GC is a massive bonus.
Mat Senan getting 2nd in the youth standings is another great result for us, it's just a shame that Eastman is untouchable in that category.
thanks for the great reports trek.

Krasnoperov and Topchanyuk both decent enough, Voroontsov and Petrovski nice in a break and Vaiktus was strong in the sprints. Good race I'd say!

Okay so been a rough week for me to keep up with MG events, but looks like we are actually going to come away with a few points here so pretty happy with how things are going, heck Brea even found a way to podium it has to be going well.

Samwel 14th is about what I expected, but that doesn't change this was a very poor race for us with a very small return for the 8 race days.
Thanks for the reports trek, and congrats to ONCE on achieving their win goal. |

Phew! 2nd place secured! I said before this started we would take one of two GC places:
: 1st place!
: 2nd place to Brajko with a stage win.
and we take the second one. Ginormous points haul from Contador here, c.200. Great final race of the season for him, now let's shed some tears as he has no more races this season!
Great race trekbmc. Though you might have wrote something like Brajko wins the Tour of Austria at the end of that report! |

My archive says this is his first win in my jersey not counting Avenir. Surely impressive, you are right, but still it is going to be almost impossible to catch Vesuvio, Bewley will likely have to win every his race left on his schedule to give me at least a chance.

Thanks trekbmc for the whole race, I just caught up.
It is a pity that VDB missed the podium. I thought that he had it sown up until he was the only one not to attack on the hill. That's a shame. Still, coming out of this with a stage win and several podium finishes is much better than expected.
