That whole race was great to watch and those final 2 laps were some of the most tense and best ridden i've ever seen. Lizzie absolutely crushed that finale all the way from 23rd to the lin.

Really quality win by Armitstead. Would have loved to see E-Jo take it but she did far too less to deserve a medal this time around.

As you probably saw, I honestly thought Armistead had stuffed it up- but Van Dijk, A blinked first. Attritional sprint.
Also, they've really stuffed up the dubbing on this interview.

The way it was raced I almost don't think it mattered who won as they all put on such a good show, the only way the men could come close is if it's wet and the field is shred to pieces. Have to hand it to the organises as they have really designed a great racing parcour
