These stats updated thanks to Sssolid and Paul as I was also thinking of about 79 hill for TD as well, what do you guys think about Chaves?

Nairo Quintana 83 78
Fabio Aru 81 78
Mikel Landa 81 77
Alejandro Valverde 81 82
Rafal Majka 80 77 (improved REC to about 78)
Joaquim Rodriguez 79/80 81
Tom Dumoulin 78 79
Esteban Chaves 77-78 78 (improved ACC to about 78)
Mikel Nieve 77 75
Daniel Moreno 77 80

Now I see everything very well

I thought of this idea when we discussed the cobbled classics earlier in the year here, because everybody just mentions what they think in loads of different posts and it becomes a bit of a mess.

Everybody has there own views but when at least a couple of established members (know how the stats work) are thinking the same kind of stats then a change is viable.

I would give Chaves 78. He had days, where he was equal to Dumoulin, where he was worse, but also were he could beat him.

I take it you mean 78 mtn, how about his hill stat as his better results came on shorter steep climbs? Which is why I'm thinking it might be better to give him a higher hill stat with improved ACC.

For Chaves I have 77mon 78hill with 76-78 acc (can't remember). Think it's on 77.
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

I agree with this at 77 and think its more accurate than 78 with better hill and great ACC to boost him. His strength at the beginning of the Vuelta was his ACC on short climbs anyway.

With good input from Jandal this time, updated.

Nairo Quintana 83 78
Fabio Aru 81 78
Mikel Landa 81 77
Alejandro Valverde 81 82
Rafal Majka 80 77 (improved REC to about 78)
Joaquim Rodriguez 79/80 81
Tom Dumoulin 78 79
Esteban Chaves 77 78 (improved ACC to 78)
Mikel Nieve 77 75
Daniel Moreno 77 80

What do you guys think about Purito? He was downgraded on last db to 79 mtn and my first instinct was to improve him to 80 again but now not so sure, his hill stat is one of the best in game so that helps him and his REC at 76 is good enough for a GT rider.

purito mon 79 hill 81

purito mon 79 hill 81

I actually agree but what makes you think he's not worth 80 as a lot of people would like to see him 80 mtn?

With more input from Ssolid here, I think these stats look about finished now:

Nairo Quintana 83 78
Fabio Aru 81 78
Mikel Landa 81 77
Alejandro Valverde 81 82
Rafal Majka 80 77 (improved REC to about 78)

Tom Dumoulin 78 79
Esteban Chaves 77 78 (improved ACC to 78)
Mikel Nieve 77 75
Daniel Moreno 77 80

Two other riders that need adjustment are:

Caleb Ewan
Fernando Gaviria

@tafiolmo
Valverde would be better than Aru and Landa in the high mountains due to his better resistance stat with your rating of 81 Mountain and on top of hat he also has the best hill stat.

My suggestion, but I edit them by myself anyway^^
Froome 85
Quintana 85
Landa 84
Aru 83
Nibali 83
Contador 83
Valverde 82
Majka 82
Van Garderen 82
Porte 82
Thomas 81
Rodriguez 81
Moreno 80
Dumoulin 79
Chaves 80

85's shall not be given at any point. Makes the gameplay weird. Lets go through them all...

Froome: Like I said, giving 85's should never happen.

Quintana: Same as for Froome, but at least you rated them on the same level. Thats fine.

Landa: Landa 1 below Quintana and 1 above Aru is alright to me, although I would maybe rate Aru = Landa. Not sure bout that tho.

Aru: Like I said, maybe equal with Landa.

Nibali: Maybe 1 above Aru(and Landa) Showed that he can fight and climb at the Tour.

Contador: Contador 2 below Froome seems harsh to me. He rode a tough Giro and still finished high in the Tour. He clearly couldn't keep up with the top guys, but I blame his choice to ride the Giro before.

Valverde: Valv showed that he can climb at the Tour(he showed it before, I know), but I would rate him 2 points below Contador

Majka: Majka as well 2 below Contador

Van Garderen: had a great Dauphine and started well in the Tour, but he abandoned, as well as in the Vuelta, where he couldn't do well. But on par with Majka

Porte: Porte = TVG = Majka, so thats fine

Thomas: I find Thomas shouldn't get anywhere near Porte. He rode a funny Tour, but he couldn't do well in the Vuelta. Just a one-hit-wonder.

Rodriguez: JRod. I have him on 81 in my career, but only because he declines and I want him to have a shot at the Vuelta in the first season. 80 should work for him.

Moreno: Great helper for Purito, but 2 points below him, IMO

Dumoulin: I have him on 78, due to his recent performances

Chaves: I have him on 78 as well, although you can put him on 77 with a high ACC as well.

Froome 85 83
Quintana 85 83
Landa 84 82/81
Aru 83 81
Nibali 83 82
Contador 83 82
Valverde 82 80
Majka 82 80
Van Garderen 82 80
Porte 82 80
Thomas 81 77
Rodriguez 81 80
Moreno 80 78
Dumoulin 79 78
Chaves 80 78/77

Your stats really would give a very weird un-realistic gameplay, but if thats what you want, you're stats are on-spot.

I wrote my suggestion for you in bold next to yours.

Caleb: 78 SP 80 ACC (not sure how to rate his hill, when he wins an uphill sprint but gets dropped on a hill a day before)

Gaviria: 78 SP 78 ACC 69/70 HI

No, not really. Dumoulin 78, Thomas 77. Dumoulin finished up high, in the most difficult GT of the year(in terms of the route), while Thomas finished "only" high in the most easy GT of the year.

Purito should be 80, because he beat guys like Majka, Nieve and more on the 11th stage, also he is declining, so he will start the Vuelta with 79 MO probably.
