good to see I'm not the only one still bothered with this, I've been putting off racing my next stage race until I get my riders/team back up to current events (team is a maybe depending on current pace)

Will try to do Scheldeprijs, and maybe Primavera this weekend, maybe if somebody wanted to take the latter so we could speed this up?

That's good to hear I think Bikex is busy with ICL and Selwink with his new story, but since thye only have to report one race, that might be ok
And the Giro, Danny?

Because of DB work, no activity and school my time and motivation has been at 0. Currently at stage 9 only :/

Hello and welcome to Antwerpen today, if you missed the preview show here is a quick overview of the profile and the favorites.
The Race
It's fairly windy as the riders depart.
The break that immediately sticks is Hermans (TFR) and Gutierrez (COL).
The first passage of the Broeckstraat cobbled sector has just one crash. But it isn't low-profile, bringing down Van Emden (BEL), De La Lumiere (FDJ), Jim and his leader Abundi (MTN), Broeckx (BAR) and Pichon (VCD). The entire team come back to pace Abundi.
The break are caught on an otherwise incident-free second cobbled sector. Sky, Belkin and Lotto keeping the pace hot. When suddenly... SPPPPAAAAAAAARRRRRTACUSSSSSSS! The big man goes, followed by Ladagnous (FDJ).
Under the 10km banner for the last time, the duo have 36 seconds on the pack. Not great stats but never underestimate these two.
The pack is strung out as the pace quickens, 7km to go and 47 seconds!
What's this? Last year's victor Greipel (LTB) attacks, Vanmarcke follows!
Ooooh, they've caught up, but The Gorilla looks tired from chasing. Vanmarcke must be the freshest now.
It's neck and neck all the way but Cancellara pips Ladagnous to the line.

@Marco: Cheers, he had just closed a minute gap without Vanmarcke taking a turn so as soon as he opened up he got a few meters then bonked.
@Oldfart: The result was probably due to the fact that COB has a small boost anywhere in the race as well. Made for more fun reporting for me though

Nice work from Kittel after a lesser start in this season part. Good try from Mario as well, but he is pretty much outclassed here. Thanks for the report!

I'm sorry, but I think there a problem with the startlist, some teams should have 8 riders here
