Right thread this time haha
I've done it! Won the Tour with a potential 6 climber. No long TT stage, and got towed along nicely in the TTT. To be fair, I did have to gain 8 minutes from a breakaway to do it... I don't think I'm going to be able to repeat that next season! Time to go back and aim for the mountain jersey again
When you can't decide between two options, flip a coin. Not because the result of the coin will choose for you, but because, in that split second before the coin lands, you'll know what side you want it to fall on.

(obviously, the correct way to do it is only on human controlled rider)

i'm wondering what the answer to this question is. I have set my difficulty level lower because my teammates where the worst of the peloton at 'extreme'.
Can someone answer the question above? |

I have not played Pro Cyclist mode yet. From reading recent posts it sounds like all the teams offer you the same money. Is that true? If so it is a shame as it removes some of the fun of choosing which team to go to. |

They do, technically. You can however negotiate with teams, ending up with some variance. Also, money means literally nothing in this mode, so it's not a big deal at all.

Indeed. It is true that the upper wage limit may differ from what it is suggested, but it is also true that once you find that limit, every team will also accept it. I would like something a little different, in the order of the sponsor negotiation in carreer mode. Nevertheless it is also true that you will probably choose your team for next year based on the riders that compose the team, and not based on wages. So, even if it is a simple system, it is not a big deal since it is not you major concern when choosing a team. I still love the mode and the idea behind it. There is only room to improve from this first year edition
Cheers. |

Can someone answer the question above? According to your experience, it seems to be applied to all the team, not only to human controlled player.
That's a pity because I was wanting to try at a harder level (on normal level it is too easy), but if it makes my team mates complete crap, it's no fun either... |

I am yet to win the Tour - just finished 3rd season. Came fifth in the Giro and won the mountain jersey. didn't qualify for the Tour, but won the Vuelta Espana and the time trial world jersey - amazing season - can't wait for next season where I will be participating in the Tour for the first time. |

I've read in another thread (someone was asking for the differences of the difficulties) that the settings adjust the stats of the other riders.
So in career mode it affects the others team (and not your riders), in be a pro it affects the other riders (and so your team as well). |

Anyway if team mates are treated like the other riders it is correct, but I have two contradictory answers to my question now... |

Hello Folks,
Does anyone have any idea for when a new official patch or even a new daily database update?
I want to start a new pro-mode carreer but not sure if I should wait just in case there is something just around the corner.
Cheers.

I was wondering, what exactly makes up the progess of a pro; results, bonus exp (which are bugged?) and training intensity? Or is training intensity only important for the racing, but not the overall progress of a rider?

Training intensity : no (you even progress during the season break).
Results? Possible. At least for bonuses.
Clearly : your orientation and your potential.
Probably : a part of random.
Anything else, I dont know. |

I only gain xp the first time i win a jersey in a category (WC, HC, etc) the second time i win any jersey from any race in that category i don´t get any XP. The same happens with victorys in stages and top 3/5 finishes in the gc, i only get xp every time i go on a breakway. Is this normal or is my career bugged? |

Hey! Got a couple question...
How do you make your pro a good allrounder? Like Geraint Thomas or Kwiatkowsk.
If you set your pro as a stage racer but train coobles throughout his career is it then possible to be good at both things?
How does the progression works?
What do you guys think is the best pro allrounder you could possibly make? |

Not to the same degree, no, but the fighter / barodeur can make you a decent allrounder.
