One question. Is the Sponsor Scenarios tab supposed to be included in the attached planner in ur first post, which I assume is ur latest model. It doesn't appear where it should according to a screenshot u posted earlier in this thread. |

There are no sponsor scenarios in the season planner any more. I removed it because it was not finished. You can use any editor to change the contract length, actual budget and future budget. |

I can't assign my riders to groups in the planner. If I assign them in-game, the groups are exported to the planner. Does assigning only work in-game?

Hey Lachi, thank you so much for this planner, its so easy to edit my riders training schedule without wasting any time at all.
I don´t know if you are still working on this, in case you do, i can help you with the spanish language, I´ve seen there are some mistakes in the words translated and most of it It's not translated at all, so i can definetely help you on that if you want me to, just give me instructions on how you want it and I'll help. |

I finally decided to try the career mode again, but the interface of this game is simply baffling, basically I'd have to write down everything from sponsor objectives to staff attributes to riders preferred races and so on. Everything. And keep a calendar handy too. facepalm
That's one of the reasons I can't get a proper career started. It's simply tedious. Cyanide should take a peek at other sports management games, they could use a few tips, really.
Now I tried this planner, but it doesn't make things any easier either... on top of that I can't export / save anything because Exporter.exe crashes. So basically I spent a couple of hours for nothing. double facepalm
I guess I'll go back to playing stages or just leave everything as it is (default objectives etc.) and just select some riders as I progress to each race. Seems like the most decent thing to do. But two questions:
- Did anyone who played a career with default objectives / training schedules etc. notice any issues with form and rider performances ? I mean I pretty much get the peaks on the graph, but are they really that important to make all this tinkering worthwile ?
- Does PCM 2014 have a better in-game season planner / GUI or is it pretty much the same as PCM 2013 ?

Don't worry with riders preferred races and satisfaction, this is the worst concern to consider.
For domestics, I found easy to set "somewhat flat and regular" form planning: 4 form set (yellow bar) with one green bar (3 form) after 3 consecutive yellow bars. Fatigue won't be a concern and you won't get an headache to know when to select domestics, there will be ready with medium/good form at any time. On the other hand, this planning will not be optimized for riders performance. But you may focus on optimizing the planning of your best riders. |

Can you make one that's working with the PCMdaily 2016DB?
Edit: I discovered a little workaround. It works when you change the date of your game to any date in 2015

What exactly was not working with the 2016 DB?
Anyway, if you attach your 2016 career file I can have a look. (if possible don't change the date to 2015) |

Sorry but I cannot use that file. I think it is because of the infamous database extraction bug. |

Yes, it's crashing when I want to open the cdb as a new plan. But, as I said, when I manually change the game date back to 2015, I can at least open it. Even this helps |

Do you use the fast editor to edit the year?
The fast editor fixes the corrupt data in the cdb file, so all you would have to do is open and save with the fast editor, no need to change the year. |
