Not only development but decline is going too fast as well.
I started a career with CULT, putting Wegmann, Gerdemann and Larsson on my biggest goals. By the end of March, all three of them had already declined.
Gerdemann even lost points in flat, climbing, hill, time trial AND prologue. It's ridiculous!

Yea stupid decision to change the progression/regression logic, way bigger sports game developers didn't get it right so how could cyanide...
Simmed ahead a year and the regression/progression doesn't seem so bad, none even of the older riders like Peraud, Valverde, Purito has lost a lot, each maybe 1 point across the board. Some younger guys have gained smth of course but also nothing really dramatic or abnormal. Does the weirdness start later?
The decline in stats for old riders is maybe not really too fast, but I think it's a bit too excessive. Greipel in my game is 38 years old, but his average is now 64 and his sprint stat is only 66. It's entirely reasonable that he declines but you'd think he would still be able to sprint a bit. Same thing with Viviani in 2026, 66 overall and 70 sprint and for some other above average riders in the game it's even worse: Ion Izagirre is a 59, Dennis is 63 overall, Langeveld 61, and many more have the same fate. It's like it's not even useful anymore to keep anyone over the age of 33.
