There's not a way of being certain that you get the type of stage you want unfortunatly, but you can quit the stage/pcm in the countdown when you see the profile and research until you get a flat-ish stage. It wont count on your fitness(if you quit the stage before it starts loading) and will save you alot of time not playing those mt stages.
Do you also know what determines which stage are being raced? Is it other players hosting the stage or is it randomly choosen, so that mt stages are not overrepresented?

I can't say anything about what determines the choice of stage, but so far i've played roughly 30% mountain stages, 30% hilly, 25 % cobbled stages and 15% flat sprinter stages.
But yeah the mountain stages seem a bit unbalanced, since people are lining up with so many amazing riders, however it get's better later in the evenings when they've spent their fitness/massages.
Does anyone know if time-trials exist in armada mode? Haven't seen a single one yet.
I guess they're just really rare then? Haven't seen any in the daily stages, and in the 30-40 races i've done i've yet to play one either. It's too bad, i love TT and so does my riders T.Martin, F.Cancellara, B. Wiggins, A. Malori, G. Thomas and T. Phinney.
