I live in Ghent.
Beautiful city. Here's what you need to see:
Graslei
Three towers of Ghent
Gravensteen, beautiful castle, impressive!
Vrijdagsmarkt
And I really recommend taking a walk through Ghent by night. Beautiful lighting. And if it's night, walk on the Sint-Michielsbrug. That's Ghent at the most beautiful. |

I'm afraid all I have is a car and my parents... They're not so happy with cycling to be honest...

Definitely park your car and visit on foot. Riding a car through Ghent is hell, walking is heaven! |

The big market square is fantastic in Bruges.
I give the same advice for Ghent: go by foot. Just explore the city of Bruges on foot and you'll see amazing things. Quite a nice city, too. But stay within the 'medieval' part of the city, beyond that it's not so pretty |

Glad to hear that. Belgium, despite the famous flaws, is still a great country I think, especially to visit as a tourist, so I'm glad you had a good time here |
