honestly don´t know, nothing close to be called defending with Can being the worst with a really nice assist with his head to 3-0 f.ex.
not directly so that you can blame the referee that it is a disadvantage
wtf, kolo toure coming off the bench in halftime, lika he will make the defend safer...?

We were kind of lucky though tbf, we surely didn't have a poor central midfield once LvG got it sorted, Ander is a stud |

Disappointed with Evertons performance against tottenham, never deserved to get anything from the game and spurs didn't even get out of first gear , but it could have been worse we could have playing stoke |

So, Leicster appoint Ranieri. See you in six months, when you've lost 1-0, to the Faroe Islands, AT HOME... even though you're a top seed.

Okay soo...
Feyenoord's best player in the past years, Jordy Clasie, made a move to Southampton.
Very excited to see him play in PL, and convinced he'll do well. Surely he got to get used to PL in the first months, but well, 5 year contract so long term ambitions from both sides.
Fee is not really clear, I've heard 12m and 13,5m(+ bonus up to 15m), both euros so basically nothing for a club like that, especially considering their Schneiderlin money.
Good to have him reunited with Pelle and Koeman anyway. Will surely help him this season.
Best part is that at 23July there is a friendly scheduled, Feyenoord - Southampton, where obviously Clasie will say goodbye, but Pelle and Koeman will as well(bit delayed, yea).
And I will be at that match so should be a good day.
Difficult not to support Saints now Feyenoord is basically a feeder club of them and they are a feeder club of Liverpool.
So nice club from two sides, for me
Any Saints fans here actually? If so, any thoughts about this signing?

Clasie's an excellent player- hopefully he can propel Southampton to an even better placing than last season.

I'm not quite sure about that. After all Chelsea want him too much and will buy him eventually. He also wants to play in a top 4 team. Despite United's interest, I think he'll land at Chelsea as both clubs have very good transfer relationships after Lukaku and Atsu and it wouldn't be smart from Everton to not take those money and buy a cheaper but talented defender as a replacement. |

Got a feeling that this one may take a lot longer due to Gary Cahill telling him to accept any offer from Chelsea - Doesn't that come under an illegal approach/tapping up ? |

Why should that be illegal? Footballers are often friends and could always have a chat about such things. |

Seems like Chelsea are giving up on Stones. Will United step up to buy him now, or will he just stay at Goodison Park. Honestly, I think it's a really bad idea from Everton, to ruin the good transfer relationships for 5 milion pounds, but it's not me who should actually give a shit. I somehow feel Everton will slightly regret it just like Borussia Dortmund, who wouldn't get De Bruyne for not selling Lewandowski earlier. I think Mourinho is sometimes the only one who thinks cleary in this league. 50 milion for Sterling, 30 for Luke Shaw... He just won't pay too much for an unproven player.
