Herrada doing some fantastic work today. But the whole Tour has showed they need a top-10/20 climbers to really tear things up since Valverde, understandably so, dont want to sacrifice himself that much, although he has helped Quintana more than I had expected with his current GC-placing.
They had Giro packed with them, just strange GT decision overall. Intxausti would be super useful.
Well only Intxausti could take that role on their team |

Meh at least hope Nibali takes a place on the podium now as he deserves it more than Valverde and Quintana with what he's showing now.
Really? if a rider finishes second in Paris then he deserves it more than the guy in third, I really don't get some of you guys

IMO Quintana is a great climber but he's no racer like Nibali or Contador.

Oh come on it wasn't meant to be a serious post after all. I'm just disappointed by the lack of action |

I just dont think Quintana has it today. Valverde seemed to have asked him a couple of times and on danish tele, that apparantly equals Valverde says to Quintana he shouldnt go as he is weak.
Oh well, the Valverde-hate is just too much. Going onto Eurosport. Clear it is Quintana who doesnt want to ride, not Valverde or Unzue. |

He didn't swap bikes because of a mechanical, that was a pre planned bike swap. Contador likes to use track tubulars for the final climb because they have a lower roiling resistance than regular road tubulars, but they wear out very quickly on the road which is why he only uses them in the final part of the race
