Anybody seen a decent third party review of the game? I've not bought a new version since I think like PCM 2008 or 2009. Thinking about it this year for the first time in a while. I've found a couple of reviews, but they are by people who really don't understand the game and how to play it so of limited use.
Perhaps a better question give price cuts on 2014, 2013 is this: since my last version is so long ago, I'm not married to having 2015. If you owned none of them, which of 2013, 2014 or 2015 would you look to buy?
You can't just look at reviews. In 2015 came out be a pro mode, which is a main attraction for a lot of people. On the other people say rider progression in career mode is a bit buggy (which may be fixed already or will be anyway) and you have no control over the rate of progression, which you did have in 14. So, if you want be a pro mode go for 2015, if you want career with being able to control progression rate, 2014 does the job just as well.

On purely selfish terms I'd rather "Be A Pro" mode didn't exist and instead they improved career mode, but I still think that PCM15 is better than PCM14. Despite having the usual crashes, stupid bugs and that, the AI seems better for the most part. Although I've had my temper tested by my Etixx team losing Boonen, Stybar and then Terpstra for most of the classics season!
In PCM14 the breakaways had to high an impact and in PCM15 it seems to be nonexistent.
Sprint AI is harder and more random, which means it depends on where you put your sprinters. PCM14 were easier and the AI overall flawed, however it was easy to abuse it that way
PCM15 is harder to abuse and you really have to keep your eyes more opened. U23 was a nice addition, however this didn't put that much work into it and needs perfection.
Also equipment seems to be as restricted as before, this time however you can't change glasses and helmets anymore. So conclusion is that if you want a challenge, with some extra additions then PCM15 is worth it. Though PCM14 is an fine game and PCM15 are still missing that edge.
OK, thanks. A lot to think about. I'm definitely a career guy (there is an old Discovery Channel career of mine floating around the site somewhere). Be a Pro doesn't really appeal to me much.
Since PCM 2014 price is pretty low right now, and I'd presume it is more playable at this point plus DB's fully developed, maybe I'll start there and move up if it makes sense to do so.
