Sagan in the break with the green jersey for the third day in a row. 85 fighter stat? Pfft

For me Sagan is 83/84 in fighter stats

Guys you should give some credit to Purito Rodriguez, he might not fight for the GC this year but he has already won 2 stages + he is holding the polka dot jersey.

I also think that Sagan deserves a fighter stat upgrade to 82 and perhaps a sprint upgrade to 80, he has been in the breakaway for 3 consecutive days and he has proven to be the fastest guy behind Greipel, who also desrves a sprint upgrade to 83 imo.

Perhaps im wrong or not, peace!

One thing that Sagan proved to me is he's got recuperation because there's no way you can do that 3 consecutive days like he did. He didn't take any rest.
As for Rodriguez he did great so far in this tour even though it was breakaway victories but for the polka dot jersey he's not the leader, he only wear it because froome has already yellow jersey.

Sagan should get 82 FTR and 79 SP. He will arrive at the end much fresher than the other guys, because of his other stats. Rec maybe 2 points up.

Not sure about Greipels SP stat. Cav clearly not at his best, Kristoff had a great season already, so he didn't peak here, as Dege didn't peak as well. I think 82 SP should fit Greipel well.

Well apart from Sagan's fighter stat upgrade (He's 80 anyway) I also think he needs a slight increase in his mtn stat as at the moment he's at 72, as in yesterday's stage he could ride at the front in that breakaway group and look strong and didn't seem to be struggling at all. 74 mtn might be a good boost.

Rodriguez is no longer a GT contender but can still win big stages, which probably means that his mtn stat should stay the same at 80 but his rec stat could be lowered from 78 which is quite high for example that's higher than riders like TVG.

He is but he crashed on stage 10. Injured his back and lost a lot of time so he focused on stages

Yup, Rodriguez will for sure be up there in the Vuelta like he has been for the last.. I dont know, 6-7 years?

He'll be up there but I don't see him as a podium contender again in big GT but I guess we'll have to wait till the Vuelta to find out.

Never underrate Rodriguez , especially not in Spain.

Then again Rodriguez would be extremely helped by his HI stat in the Vuelta, compared to his rivals with similar MO, in PCM.

Well he's only managed two podiums in the last 7 Vueltas, I'd say he was a far more dangerous contender to win another Ardennes classic or a Giro di Lombardia, I actually think he often races better outside of Spain, excepting the week long stage races there.

He'll be remembered as the best guy that never won a major tour of his generation, as he should've at least won both the Giro and Vuelta, should've won the 2012 and 2010 editions of those races

I wouldnt say he has declined that much, his win on Beille, but especially Huy underlines that.

Also it was both in 2012. He was freakin godlike that year, probably the best climber in the world

Well I did say earlier that he's fully capable of winning big mountain stages and classics, but not to get on a podium in a big GT again.

I see some people suggesting increase in MO and REC for Sagan. If there's too much of it, Sagan will end up going for GC in too many races, which will be unrealistic.

I also think Talansky is slightly underestimated with his downhill skill. He showed today he can be good. On the final stage of 2014 Dauphine he almost dropped some guys behind him on the final downhill. And I've never seen him really struggling on any descent. Something like mid 70's in DO for him wouldn't be out of the place IMO.

I don't think sagan deserves a boost in mountain because he would be too good in game in any kind of stages

Tafiolmo
I don't think giving Sagan a mountain boost to 73/74 would make him a contender in any way, for a high GC in most stage races of importance, but it would allow him to stay with a break of climbers on a medium mountain stage.

Sagan did win the Tour of California though.
