@count I do recall in 2013 you quite clearly were talking right language, when Quintana was sticking with Froome you pointed out that if one was to attack Froome you must put Quintana in same category.
I read tuckers article, clearly he feels that Froome has gone to far over, i didn't think his article was that strong in isolation. Clearly he has written lots and like you count feels 6.1 or 6.2 over the course of that climb is too much. As he says you cannot take that climb in isolation but then seems to backtrack and say actually he feels the gaps between the riders more points to Froome doing something the others are not.
I see Contador and Nibali behind several other riders - they had bad day. The only comparison is Quintana vs Froome and the gap there is large I will admit the section where Froome really destroyed everyone is the shallow section of the climb.
Your probably correct about Porte he has since 2012 I feel shown in races like Paris Nice he is a really strong climber - I don't really see it as a stretch that good lean chrono guys like Porte, Dennis, Dumoilin etc. can put their superb power towards becoming really strong climbers. Certainly they cannot accelerate like Contador, Quintana and company, similarly the other way round those climbers can produce good chronos.
I disagree with you on last point if roles had been reversed Quintana had of destroyed Froome we would have had bananas galore and very little doping talk.

These quotes from Brailsford are really all I need to hear at this point to know what a fucking disgrace SKY is and how doped they have Chris.
So you thought about what you could do to prove he is not doping and then are going to do everything you can to not let his training files get out? |

I think one of the major problems he had with it was the fact the first half was below 6W/Kg then that means the attack was significantly higher than the 6.1-6.2W/Kg average for a considerable length of time rather than just the average figure itself. Add to that historical info such as sudden emergence in the Vuelta and team mates pulling then out performing everyone yesterday and he's reached his personal tipping point.
It's a fine line and a subjective thing but it struck me as being very much in contrast to his previous cautious optimism since 2009 or indeed articles such as the one he referenced in this piece concerning Ax 3 Domaines.
For what it's all worth - lets hope we get some battle back today regardless  |

Who have blamed Gesink tho? I have always found him to be one of the more aggressive riders. Mollema, on the other hand... well, I guess it has something to do with him always being on the limit which is understandable. Cant really blame him for that, contrary Evans fx. |
