Considering Froome has a horribly bad biomechanical racing position. Based on everything SKY has tried to say and their "Marginal Gains" wouldnt that be the first thing they fixed unless they clearly are just doping the shit out of him.

I mean the guy doesnt even know how to ride a bike properly.

Yeah sure are you that idiot Ray J Willings on cycling news forum? He cannot ride a bike properly yet came out way ahead of any contender before the mountains even started. Haha he as not finshed 1 GT, i repeat 1 GT since he as been a good rider. Unlike Contador(crashed put on his own) Froome got took out last year the day before the cobbles by a OGE rider, that is why he could not stay upright. People are in ruins so

People are in ruins so many have predicted Froome would not even reach the mountains. It's hilarious. Im a Froome fan and im not silly he is obvious doping like they all do so im fine. It's just funny Contador was beaten by Galloping today, Tony friggin Gallopin. Even Gesink only lost 1:30 and he attacked 11kms to the end. So Contador who is the big reference is clearly off form so Froome was not that mutant too me.

No I am asking why Team SKY who are all about Marginal Gains wouldnt fix a clearly incorrect riding style. Obviously they could make his movement more efficient with all the science they have. Why havent they done that?

It's like when Froome attacks he can keep it up forever. With 6k to go he attacked and he kept going and going... His pedalling rate is so fast, it's sickening Pfft.

Sky more or less made EBH a good mediocre/good mountaindomestique, the same will probably happen to Kwiat, yeah, although I still maintain Kwito is the more talented. But lets not forget EBH in 2011 when he won 2 stages, probably due to Wiggins' abandon.
wiggins didn't quit till stage 7 and EBH won his first stage on stage 6

Surely you would think if Froome had anything to really worry about, that he would have dialed it back a notch today and not just blazed the stage?

idk im no expert by any means, just common sense that if you are cheating, why make it so blatant and give people even more reason to ask the question.

Its interesting reading though, helps me learn more about stuff.

It's not possible what Froome and Porte did today, only explanation is that every contender is in a very poor form, which cannot be the case. How is it possible to do that power attack then set the same pace for the last six km's like Froome did, didn't even look like he slowed down at all and he could easily kept his pace and take over a minute more if the stage was 2km's longer.

And Porte did the exact thing he did on Ax 3 domaines two years ago where he pulled up Froome untill he ran out of energy, for then again fly past everyone and secure the second place....

And that, too, is very similar to Lance Armstrong.

I guess that "UK Postal" pretends that we'll believe they are smarter than anyone, and that their runners prepare better than their rivals, and specially that they are in better fit and have more desire to win.

I had enough "miracles" as i said before, in the end, everything is reduced to "legs" and they're pushing beyond the human limits. Maybe we'll have to wait several years to know if this was legit or not.

Wow. When attacking Contador he actually goes about 30 km/h from 19 km/h, but his heart rate does not go any higher than 162?

Im not an expert but shouldn't his heart rate be a little higher going 30 km/h up Ventoux? Smile

Read an interesting article on Froome a while ago (linked from this sight iirc) about his style to look down at his bars being about opening the airways and getting more efficient breaths.

Also, Sky do spend like 50% more money on their squad than even the best of the other teams, so them being stronger is not surprising. when they have a line-up with 9 Tour-worthy leaders, is it a surprise when they dominate a race? it's not even just the riders they spend money on. they can basically be on training caps year-round if hey so desire, so them being better at training is not really a surprise.

However, this doesnt mean they are clean. i just dont think that they are doing anything different to any of the other riders. do people that think Froome dopes think Contador is clean? Is Nibali?

One thing i'm pretty sure of is that if the whole peleton was clean except for sky, you'd have heard rumours from the riders leaving sky about iffy stuff. not heard Cavendish, Dowsett etc say anthing.

I personally dont think that Sky Dope in a different way to any other team. there are a ton of drugs that are legal for the peloton to use such as caffiene and painkillers, and with their massive budget, its not inconceivable that they have been able to get the best "legal stimulants" for their riders.

All of this stuff isn't fair on the rest of the teams, and that's why Sky are hated so much. it's account doping at it's worst.

By the way, i'm not a sky fan . I hate Froome because he's a twat and really dull. at least Wiggins was just wierd. He had some personality...

Was about to do the same and fix it Grin

As I said in the stage thread Ross Tucker has been cautiously optimistic over TdF performances for the last few years (you can see all his TdF articles from those last few years on his website if you want the full context). He's no longer optimistic...
