Exciting attack by Gesink - ride is already up on Strava too https://www.strav...7/overview

Also wow seeing Tony Gallopin hanging in there way up the climb and finishing top 10 ahead of Contador and TVG to name just a couple Shock

That is all...

he does not getting out of the hole..never will be sry.
I have followed him closely also..wrong team..some wrong decisions in the past (staying at the Cofidis on he's peak). He would have been stronger then training mate Kangert who has been stabile and absolutely stunning 3 years in the row (even today..after Giro was nursing holded back by Nibali all the way up.)

Gesink 409W on the final climb Shock

He is of the same weight as Froome. So that means Froome must have done close to 430/440W.
That's totally insane. Armstrong levels

If cyclists want to be proven clean, Id say putting all their data on Strava is a good start.

If the data from that finnish dude on twitter is correct, he did 432.39 W (6.09 W/kg * 71 kg).

The Finnish guy? Ill never doubt anything he writes regarding w/kg. Pfft

Froome was good, but didn't the others underperformed? Quintana loosing a minute, Gesink 1.33 (so he performed well), but all the others??
Can it possibly be, that riding 9 stages (okay, 2 TT's) at the front f the peloton, always nervous, has fatigued them too much??
That's why I'm not surprised by Porte, as he has had way more resttime (loosing time in many stages) than the GC-contenders.

And about the doping: I don't think Froome is 100% clean, and if he isn't, so aren't most of the others. You can do 2 things: argue about it and get frustrated, or just accept it that they all MIGHT are doped. That makes it so much more easy to watch Cool

Apparently Contador suffers from pollen allergy. I know how hard that can be on you!

Oh trust me I know....I fear he won't get a WT or Pro Conti Contract next year and he will be toiling the rest of his career away for a very small Conti team, struggling for some results. I think Astana was the worst decision he could've made for this season, the only real reason he got roped into it was because of Tanel (who has been absolutely phenomenal, but he needs out of that mess of a team!).

The last few year's I've been really just praying he can win a race or 2 per season, and really that's exceeding my expectations...its been a sad fall, but I have to say i'll always be a loyal fan!

I don't believe in fairy tales, in past i bought the cancer cowboy's one and i wont do it againt. Do we have to accept that "Froomestrong" just appeared in the middle of Nairobi join Sky and finished 2nd in his First Tour and now dominates?.

Let's be serious, Armstrong also crushed his rivals and we all know how that story ended. Champions are forged slowly, and they can't be done without the proper base, I can't believe that Sky is smarter than everyone and they're simple doing "magic" turning sprinters, classic cyclist or "John Does" into Mountain Beasts. They're cheating, it's too obvious. They're just one or two steps beyond the detection methods, but truth allways show, sooner or later.

All I hope for is a Valverde podium.

Also, quite the performance by Thomas...

Apart from the fact he finished 83rd in his first Tour de France, wit his best stage result being 30th up Alpe d'Huez (stage 17), followed by 31st in an ITT (stage 4) back when he rode for Barloworld in 2008.

Although yeah he did kind of explode from nowhere, just want to point out he was already a pro with some semi decent results and had a Tour under his belt before he exploded from nowhere. Those results he previously had weren't indicative of that kind of potential but he at least had some pro results to speak of that are semi decent and indicate he would still have had a career, just more likely to have been at Continental or Pro Continental level.
