Been away from the forum for a day or less and its good to see that the thread is activ as hell !
But one thing I miss is more info about other raiders in a race.. You cant like see the leading group ( as I can tell )
But if I am in the Peloton and there is a leading group I have no idea if there are any rivals ( shirts ) is in the group..And to be realistisc I know have communication with Sportsdirector

If you press space bar you can see info about the stage, among other also the composition of the groups on the road under profile tab (for big groups it doesn't showw all the riders, but for breaks it should be good enough).

Ok, installed the game on Friday and....i spent like 10-15 hours with "Be a Pro" already and quite loving it.
I have not touched anything outside of this mode yet.
scary isn't it, have the same thing (although not with PCM15 cause that's probably unplayable but TdF 2014) I played one stage with Giant, started with Pro Tour Mode and never looked back until now (although I only started playing it today)
Yeah, it is a bit scary. I got into PCM because I like sport management games, so usually I just play long careers. I haven't touched career mode yet and i've been playing for the best part of four days..... This is ridiculously addictive.
I'm already at 28 hours of playing. At this moment I have no need to ever go back to team mode, but I probably will.
Though the speed is amazing and love the gameplay and whatnot.
Good job Cyanide. Real improvement. Thumbs up
I am also big fan on new game mode, but we should not be in over positive mood, because it is still buggy pcm with majority of its flaws. Still it is step into right direction and i am fairly happy customer first time since 2011 edition. But i am yet to try career mode in this version.
For now the biggest problem for me in the game is crazy inflation of stats. Both yours and others...

Well, we should see both sides
There is room for improvement, obviously!
But there are great things, too. Other things I really like:
loading time seems decreased.
Stability is high (at least for me). Game hasn't crashed so far (knock on wood), this mode is a lot of fun to do, especially for people who don't know a lot about cycling because they have basically no season planning etc to do

Rivals are marked with Orange color in the Groups Tab (so if leading group has a orange marker, start chasing)
also if they starting to be dangerous for your teams plans they could also turn orange

Safe to say first time i've bought PCM since 08 and been a happy customer loving the new mode just works so well in cycling yeah there's lots of little improvements to be made but for a first go 7.5/10 haven't played any other mode yet either
It's strangely addictive and I've already played over 30 hours since Thursday. Stupid game.
Also, crashing out of my first Giro halfway, wearing pink is pretty epic but also too bad because there goes my chance to go for a unique collection of all GT's youth jerseys. (rider now 25 so next year no longer available).

That sucks bigtime.
Meanwhile i had no chance to play the game some more, but today i am looking forward to couple of hours with be a pro, already looking forward to that. I have to finish my second season and start the third one, with Lotto Soudal, finally in WT!
Got the game today because of this game mode. Loving it even though im not that good. Best so far is a 3rd place in a stage. Still, im only a 19 year old Norwegian sprinter (in Team Joker), so have a long career in-front of me. (And 8 years to become Kristoff )
Sport freak. Mostly interested in Football (Liverpool, Rosenborg with more), increasing interest in cycling.
Also big Formula 1 fan. Ferrari <3
This mode is great, not even tried normal career mode yet but still have like 30hours in the game. But, they need to update the injury system. You get injured or sick but you dont know it until you see a cross on youre fitness. No message or anything so I dont know anything...

If some of you did not play the game yet, but want to see some Be a Pro gameplay, then see my video here. It is in danish, but I think you get most of it
Will give it a watch. Should mange to understand most of the danish. Its certainly easier to understand than all the french/german/spanish videos that are out there.
Having come from PCM13 I like the mountain gameplay. I love that I can now attack and it feels meaningful, while dotting still works. I also like that in this mode because I'm only controlling one rider I can focus on marking other contenders. Feels like it is actually possible to ride defensively rather than just having to push all the time.
One gripe though is the teammate AI being odd at times. Might be because I'm still in the first season and they're relatively weak. That being said there are times when it works really well. It also feels really good when you've got the whole team working just for you.
