First Riders Announced!

Gatorade - SIS are very happy to announce the first riders to join the team for the 2015 season. Jon Dibben and Anton Varabei! They have been confirmed from the Free Agency with wages of $50,000.

Jon Dibben
Nationality:
Top stats: 67 TT, 69 ACC, 66 SP
Age: 21
XP Level: 1.00
Potential: 5

The British rider is a hot prospect for us at the age of 21 with the potential to be a solid Time Triallist in the future. We hope we'll be able to aid his development in the near and further future. He'll act this year as a helper to find his feet in the peloton for the first time in his career.

Anton Varabei
Nationality:
Age: 30
Top stats: 70 HI, 71 SP, 74 ACC
XP Level: 4.100

Anton will be a valuable team mate for both potential sprinters and stage racers for next season. The Canadian is an experienced rider who will also get his chance to sprint for stage wins with a bumpier route. His 68 mountain and 70 hill will allow him to stay in contention when the faster guys are dropped. Expect to see more Canadians in the remaining off the transfer period.

Six Riders Confirmed!

It's been another busy day at the Gatorade headquarters securing deals that have been active over the last few days. A total of six riders have joined from either another team or from the free agency and now we are happy that we are able to reveal these names.

Peter Pancake
Nationality:
Top stats: 72 MO, 70 HI, 76 STA
Age: 32
XP Level: 4.100
Wage: 50,000

Joins from Canadian outfit RBC. Will be a valuable teammate when the road goes up hill. His age should bring experience to the team.

Ryan Roth
Nationality:
Top stats: 71 TT, 71 FL, 72 CO
Age: 32
XP Level: 4.100
Wage: 50,000

The second rider to join from RBC, Roth provides qualities to the team in opposite fashion to Pancake by looking to help over the flat.

Luis Angel Mate
Nationality:
Top stats: 72 MO, 73 HI, 72 STA
Age: 31
XP Level: 4.100
Wage: 50,000

Our first Spaniard to join our ranks. Joining from Team TomTom, the team promoted to PCT, will he be able to do the same with us in the next few years? He is another climber he'll ride in support.

Andoni Blazquez
Nationality:
Top stats: 74 HI, MO 68, SP 68
Age: 28
XP Level: 4.100
Wage: 50,000

Joining us from Quickstep, he seemed to be a good fit into our plans. Can either be a support rider or a stage hunter when the road becomes too tough for the sprinters.

Ethan Weiss
Nationality:
Top stats: 73 HI, 77 ACC, 79 FTR
Age: 25
XP Level: 4.100
Wage: 90,000

An explosive fighter will surely get his chance at a stage win from a breakaway at some point through the season. An American addition to our consistent hilly riders.

Ricardo Delgado Rubio
Nationality:
Top stats: 73 FL, 71 SP, 71 RES
Age: 28
XP: 4.100
Wage: 50,000

Third Spanish rider to join today, he's a strongman on the flat and will be useful on flatter days protecting a GC rider or a sprinter.

Wes Sulzberger
Nationality:
Top stats: 74 FL, 73 SP, 73 SP
Age: 29
XP: 4.100
Wage: 50,000

Embarassed:lol: Yes I did, I'll add him in. I already nearly forgot one of the riders I included.

jt1109
Great to see the Canadians on your team I hope they will be useful over the season and get there own chances to shine at this levelSmile

nacho63
@jt1109 I had planned to go for a few Canadians but will consider Canada as a secondary focus next season

Tyler Brandt & Luke Grivell-Mellor Join

Tyler Brandt
Nationality:
Age: 25
Top stats: 76 MO, 73 TT, 72 REC
XP Level: 4.100
Wage: 125,000

Tyler will be our leader in many stage races throughout the season. The American will target the USAPCC early in the season, his ability to climb and time trial will give him a solid chance on home soil.

Brandt will be one of our stars this season and will be a vital piece to teams performance this year.

Luke Grivell-Mellor
Nationality:
Top stats: 69 FL, 70 STA, 70 FTR
XP Level: 1.00
Potential: 4
Wage: 50,000

Luke has the potential to be a really strong fighter on the flat. He'll also be able to support our leaders on the flat sections of race, however he isn't afraid to do a bit of climbing either.

Robby Squire

Age: 25
Top stats: 72 MO, 72 HI, 72 REC
XP level: 3.72
Potential: 5
Wage: 70,000

The young American has real potential in the mountains while this year he'll be supporting Brandt. The long term goal is too see him loaned out so he can reach his max.

Caleb Fairly
Nationality:
Age: 28
Top stats: 74 HI, 73 STA, 71 REC
XP level: 4.100
Wage: 60,000

Caleb will get his chance to ride many of the hilly classics throughout the season, he'll also be able to support the team in GC or sprint ambitions.

Gavin Mannion
Nationality:
Age: 24
Top stats: 72 MO, 73 RES, 68 ACC
XP level: 3.56
Potential: 5

Like Robby Squire, he is a long term prospect for us in the mountains but we'll be a value teammate throughout the season for Gatorade - SIS.

Javier Aramendía
Nationality:
Age: 29
Top stats: 77 TT, 77 PRL, 72 REC
XP level: 4.100
Wage: 130,000

The Spanish rider was very costly for us but he is a quality time trialist and will be one of the best in the division. We hope this will equal some wins for the team in stage races.
