Riding San luis,Oman,,langkawi+Catalunya is great but ...
Whaaaaaaaaaaat?San luis top 5 with a TT where I am going to lose huge truckloads of time?
Whaat?Top 5 in Catalunya(I hope Froome and Quintana don't show up)?
If Froome and co. don't show up we might have a chance.

Juan Pablo Asquez
Hey guys, it's Juan.
I am pretty pleased with my early season race schedule, I will be supporting Jose in the mountains by protecting him or being in a break, and then suffering with him in the ITT. I know how you feel.
Anyway San Luis and Langkawi aren't bad races for me at all, and with th he prospect of the Volta a Catalunya if I do very well you can be sure I will be motivated.
Anyway, the main reason I am writing this is the fact that in Asquez there is no i. See, boss? Good motto, 'There is no I in Asquez'!
See you guys around,
Juan

Hi boss,it's me.I saw you and the sponsor are relying heavily on me for this season part and I hope I won't disappoint them.I hope big names won't participaate on Catalunya,Langkawi looks easy barring any crashes etc.,San Luis hmm... if I limit my losses on the ITT I can do it.I can probably get a stage win at top of Jabal al Akdhar in Oman, and am I going to GP Indurain?Because it suits to punchy climbers but I can make this goal if the route is more mountainous, even though I am a natural climber than a punchy climber.
Btw,can I learn my full calendar,boss?
San Luis(7)
Oman(6)
Langkawi(10)
Catalunya(7)
Vuelta a Espana(21)
are definite. So 51 race days are definite.
I am riding Trentino(4) and Burgos(5) if something weird doesn't happen, right? It makes 60.There is still 2 race days to use.
So which are the one-day classics I will be riding?Indurain?,San Sebastian?

Ok, out of character, you've gotta love how Grammar is spelt wrong in Juan's grammer lesson.
Ok I'm going to stop now.

I am really looking forward to the start of the season now and I am sure I will not disappoint. With the co-lead/support from Julian David Arredondo I am sure I will do very well in the hilly classics.
The Tour de Gabon is the only stage race I will be racing in but that doesn't mean I am not looking forward to it. If I remember correctly last year it was won by a rider similar to myself but worse so I should have a good chance of doing well. I have been told I will be the sole leader which is great to hear and I am sure I will receive good support from the guys.
I am then riding 5 hilly classics: Marseille, Almeria, Strade Bianche, Roma Maxima and Indurain. These should all be good challenges for me and with the support of Arredondo I feel the two of us will do extremely well. I am the sprinter who can go over hills and he is the punchy attacker, a deadly combination!
I am however disappointed not to be selected for the Volta ao Algarve which is the only Portuguese race on the calendar and was one I was really looking forward to. I understand the manager thinks it will not suit me so I guess I will have to get over it.
Let's get this season underway!
Ricardo M.M.

Team Green prove popular in Gabon
Caja Rural's repackaged team got to work in impressive fashion in the season opener in Gabon. Ricardo Martinez Machado superbly took the teams first win on 2015 after narrowly missing out on a previous day. He was set for a top 5 finish on GC before a final stage crash knocked him down to 10th place. Team management though were delighted with the spectacular results, in particular feeling that Machado was certainly ready to mix it with the professionals.

Caja Rural narrowly miss stage win goal in Oman
Jose Alarcon and Ricardo Martinez Machado worked hard in Oman and both had their moments but regrettfully neither were able to seal a goal performance of a stage win out in the middle East. Machado proved closest with a second place on the tricky finish following a steep hill. Meanwhile Jose Alarcon did a good GC on his way to 5th overall with a 3rd place up Green Mountain.

Caja Rural animate Genting Highlands - rewarded with strong GC rides
Jose Alarcon and a strong climbing squad including Verdugo, Arroyo, Sarmiento and Garcia all were key in showing Asia who were the one of the top climbing squads in the Continental ranks - giving Orica Greenedge a battle for GC. The team kept their powder dry following an anti climatic Cameron Highlands climb before really forcing the pace on stage 5's Genting ascent
Sarmiento got in the break to guarentee late support
Verdugo proved to be the teammate deluxe for Alarcon pulling a select group clear
Alarcon bravely chases race winner Johnson on his way to second
Meanwhile Arredondo and Martinez Machado provided great presence in hilly classics. Martinez Machado particularly impressive in the flat mans sprint in Almeria
Machado shows he can live with the fast flat men in Almeria

Hola amigos, it's your friendly neighborhood Swan!
San Luis is done and it was a quiet life of a domestique for our leaders until one of th e mountain stages - me and a bunch of amigos struck out with a long break - taking fourth and a few more KoM points - just for airtime in the case of the latter. Even better was my GC - twelfth, definitely a lot better than I was expecting coming into y'all first ever race.
Langkawi was fun enough - dutiful domestique as always, my legs didn't have it in them for a break but good to see my J7Sports buddy Tomohori Hatanaka in some breaks!
Sadly it felt like Catalunya had already started by the time it ended - for me it had, my ambitious race target startling was already set in stone. Anyway, hopefully my domestique duties, GC placing and breakaway could earn me a spot in my native Vuelta al Pais Vasco!
Also, just found out how to do Basque flag on this bloggy thingy - yay!
See you,
Juan |

Carlos "Why Don't Have Cool Nickname Yet?" Bonilla
Heya buddies!
As you may have heard, I'm on the move - Literally no Paco in sight so Mr. J7 contacts the original offerererer and Mr. Smowzy says most definately! Choice, as the funny Mr. J7 would say!
Anyway, just wanted to say Hiya, I will introduce myself soon, okey dokey.
It does feel good at a Spanish team though - Bloody French language is too hard for Carlos!
A bientôt, (bloody French!)

Spoiler Where the help do I post this
Volta Limburg 2015 - EPIC Costa Rican happy with lead-out
The young Costa Rican sprinter Carlos Bonilla was on hand at the 42nd Volta Limburg Classic yesterday, sprinting for team leader Barry Markus before finishing 12th, the second-highest EPIC rider.
'I'm just pleased with my performance, I wanted to help Barry get a good result in such a strong field, he was our hope today and to lead him out and help him over the hills was a great personal feeling too.' the Costa Rican says of his job. When quizzed on this being one of his last races in these colours, his face changes slightly.
'Yeah, ah, it's a shame I have to leave but it was for the best after Paco went I wanted to be at an organised team and Caja were perfect, J7 Sports went straight to them, of course they already have Juan there so it was an easy choice for us. I hope to do the team proud in the Continentals, I'm by myself but I hope to make a fight of it.'

Buenos dìas boss,
I was looking to find out where I'll be riding from now until the continental championships, obviously my only requests are to ride in my native Vuelta Ciclista al Pais Vasco and Klasika Primavera but other than that I'm open to anything, domestique or free role.
Gracias,
Juan

WDHACNY - Blog
Heya amigos!
So I went to Australia to race my last ever races for Ah sh e duhzzz her and in the TT I came last. Dead last. But luckily I actually wasn't dead for the Road Race.
I was on my own in the bunch the whole day, just cooling. Then Danger! My hero and role model Andrey Amador attacked! When I saw nobody wanted to follow hike I attacked too and started to chase.
Unfortunately he is too strong and fought me off! But I was too strong (or they didn't care) and I held the peloton off! My best ever result and in such a big race too!
So after this I ask my manager where I'll be racing. Obviously I'm not the best hilly sprinter but I'd be happy to lead-out Ricardo a couple of times and maybe lead the team once or twice ?
Muchos Gracias boss,
Carlos

Hola amigos!
As I await my racing schedule I've been racing quite a bit. First I competed in my first EHST event, I didn't have the legs to do up against Putito and the like but it was a good way to get back in shape before the next season part after a gap since Langkawi.
The break was spent at home and then in the Pyrenees with some teammates who also weren't racing. I improved a bit there, and worked on my stamina with some long rides, recovery with some back-to-back riding, my acceleration by lots of sprint sessions, and my flat power skills on the trainers as some of the weather wasn't flash.
I also want to thanks the team's fans who really get behind the whole green team, which I'm happy to say includes me. You've welcomed me in such a great way and supported me and the team wherever we go.
Back to business I then flew to Australia for my next race in the Continental Championships I felt good on the day and due to my luck in starting near the front I followed an attack from Salvatore Puccio. Stefan Denifk was on my wheel and we worked together well. My inexperience and lack of stamina showed in the end as they managed to shake me off, but I'm still happy with my performance and it's a really good thing to be active in big races like this.
Now it's back to racing, not sure where yet but hopefully in the Basque Country, I hope to hear my full schedule for the next few months sooner or later.
Juan
