Welcome to the home of British Talents, the team were we aim to give our riders the best starting blocks as they go towards a career in the World Tour, as you may have guessed we are a new team, which was set up by Steve Kirkbride to run along side with the Fred Whitton Challenge, which is a sportive taking riders over all the main passes in the Lake District. Steve came up with the idea of the team after seeing a recent new article, in which Lance Armstrong told a British cycling magazine that if he was to go back to the start of his career again, he would probably still dope. This got him thinking why not set up a team that will start with some new young talents and bring them through the ranks of professional cycling.
The team started life last year as a Junior team with a few of the hottest young talents from the UK, however this year the team takes the step into the pro ranks as it takes up a Continental license, to celebrate Steve signed a number of experienced and young riders from Australia, New Zealand and Ireland as he aimed to add riders to the team so that they would be able to develop the young British talents and to race in some of the more prestigious Continental races.
The team's aim is to develop young talents as well as to progress through the ranks with the same core of British riders as they aim to progress to the stage where one of these young talents can win the Tour De France, riding for the team.
Spoiler I have had PCM 4 for a while and was planning to update my The Yates Brothers story to PCM 14, however I found this difficult and decided that it was easier to create a new story to run in tandem with The Yates Brothers story.

Don't you think a 17 year old with 75 MO, TT 70 Cobble and 67 sprint is a tad unrealistic? |

I'll take that into account and change it

We here at Fred Whitton are very glad to announce that we have taken on a number of staff for the 2014 season, as well as signing pre contracts for a number of riders that are retiring at the end of the season.
Our first signing of this year is Rob Hayles, who joins the team as a Directeur Sportif, Rob has a great depth of experience that we know he will be able to use to help our younger riders to develop, Rob will also form a great part of our stage racing team as his knowledge of tactics is second to none, meaning that our riders will always know what to do in a difficult situation.
The next Directeur Sportif to join the team is Malcolm Elliot, the sprint ace who has won the points jersey in the Vuelta joins the team to help our young sprinters to develop and become the best they can be, he will form a key part in tutoring Richie Allen and the other young sprinters in the team.
As well as those two signings David Millar has signed a pre contract as a Directeur Sportif with the team, as he plans to retire at the end of the season. Millar is another wise and bold tactician that will be a great addition to the coaching staff, and we wish him the best of luck for this season as he aims to finish on a high.

The fact that your worst rider is 16 and would already make a good leader for any other ct team says enough about the OP-ness of the story. Not going to follow, as it will end up in a Yates-esque winning-everything-from-day-one story, but good luck nonetheless.

Those arn't Flakemores stats in any DB i've ever seen... As others have said the squad level for that age is just completely ridiculous. Let alone the fact it's comfortably the best CT team and would be more than comfortable in the PCT the ages just kill any remaining serious factor for me. Best of luck nonetheless
