Nordic Cycling | Final Farewell
Luis Leon Sanchez
Thanks for the Great Story Atlantius. It is not often that one manages to write a 159 page story with so many views and so many replies.
Congratulations Smile

Atlantius
sutty: Thanks. And thanks for following right from the first day!

Dippofix: I hope that as well Wink

Shonak: You pretty much hot the nail there Wink In terms of seasons I think this might be the longest "classic" team-story. Petronas has more posts and things like the 2100-project and several one-rider stories have more seasons.

Ian: You will soon know more about that Wink

The Rider: In deed. I couldn't improve the season without gwtting rediculous, all my captains stay on the team and no one important is declining, so now was the time. The save will live on!
And "thanks" for putting this in my head:
Spoiler

Miguel: All good things must come to an end Wink

Jesleyh: Thanks. Let's se if the next few days will answer your question...

the_hoyle: Thanks. Both the team and the story did in deed evolve quite a bit since the beginning.

The Hobbit: You're welcome and thanks for the kind word. It won't be long until a continuation of sorts arrives Wink

TMM: Yeah Petronas was immensely long (post wise), but I think I have more seasons. Obviously 2100 and several one-rider stories beat this in terms of season, but I thinkthis might be the longest-spanning classic teamstory with 5 full seasons.

welker: You're welcome - even though you almost make me blush Embarassed

LLS: 160 pages with your post Wink

Thanks for everyone who have followed along the way and thanks for everyone who voted me for the inaugural story of the month award and especially the teams story of the year. It would not have been the same without you!

I will post and of season rankings and stuff over the day.

Obviously that means that Euskaltel - Euskadi and Omega Pharma - QuickStep will get relegated while Het Nieuwsblad - Willems Veranda's and Statoil - Stoerensoe will get promoted.

It's worth noticing that Volkswagen miss out on promotion in spite of scoring more WT-points than 5 current WT-teams.

This was absolutely amazing story and it's real shame that it's finishing(?) here, but just as you said few posts above , all good things must come to an end. Wink

Since the journalists tend to vote for either the winner of teh World Tour or the winner of the Tour de France and Nibali won both it's not a huge surprise...

Thanks for a fantastic story Smile

It was close to a master piece, so thanks Wink

Daggen
This story has been active since around the same time I started on this forum. It was one of the first stories I read, and along with Dienblad's, this is an absolute legend.

When I saw that it was stopping I felt more sadness than when Dienblad stopped his, because this one has always had a special place in my heart, ever since it's first steps as a ambitious CT team.

I hope you will return soon with another story. Wink
