Hi guys

im having a very special DB which i dont wanna get rid of.
How can i possibly get the variants from the tours without loosing my current DB? I have understood that i could download one of the Daily DB's but that would loose all the work ive done in my DB , facemaking etc.

Can anyone help ?

You just need to copy the whole CM_Stages folder including the full variant folder from the PCM Daily DB into your game folder.
If asked, don`t overwrite the files and just copy the not existing stages and files.

Then start a new career, "save" and quit the game.
Use the Full Editor V4 and export the new save game.
Do the same with your real savegame, that you want to continue.

There are two new folders then with lots of xml files. Search for DYN_Variant_stage and DYN_variant_date in the new savegame folder and copy these 4 files into the other folder of your savegame and overwrite the files there.

Then go back to the Full Editor V4 and import your real savegame, which now include the new variant xml files.

In the next season you should have variants then.

If it's just a DB and not a save-game, you don't have to do any DB work. Just copy the variants folder in CM_Stages (of the PCM.daily DB) and the stages that are used by the variants to your own CM_Stages folder, and that's it.
