Expansion Pack: Bug Reports
haasje33
Please don't use this thread for general questions and support - there's a thread for that.

Although we've solved every bug we've encountered while testing, there might be a few bugs left. If you find any, tell us in here. That way we can solve them in a future patch.

I get a crash every time I try to flick to March in the rider schedule.

First I tried in a Cult-Energy career, the game crashed upon me pressing the "next" arrow going from February to March.

Then I tried with a Katusha career, this time it looked as if a race in February was obstructing the top bar and keeping me from pressing an arrow at all.

It works fine for me, so it might be a problem with your installation.

Try the solutions I described below in the same order and check if it solved the problem after each solution.

1. Copy both .cdb-files from the PCMdaily DB Backup folder in the installation directory to Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2014\Mod\Database and overwrite the existing files.

2. Reinstall the Expansion Pack. (you don't need to uninstall it first)

3. Uninstall PCM and make sure to delete all of the files in the installation folder, then reinstall PCM and the Expansion Pack and see if this solved your problem.

I don't know if it is a bug, but I saw that some classics have the same variant for 2014 as well as for 2013 : G3, G-W, AGR, Vattenfall Cyclassics. Plouay, Montreal, Lombardia.

When I begin a career some of the yerseys are purple fields.
What do I have to do?

Sometimes its because its the same route Smile

Not really a bug, but I think Clasica de Almeria has the wrong profile.
It's typically a sprinter's classic but in game it's a very heavy mountain race which Bennett could never have won.
Weird thing is that it was the same in the ASO db, so I don't know what went wrong there.

I don't have the DB yet, but in former years it was always the same reason: Nobody has time to do all the profiles correct for the little races, so usually some routes are taken for a couple of races, which have a likely profile. You will see that for some of the smaller races (especially one-day-races). That should be applying here as well. However, if the route used is the same as in the 2013 db, you should still try winning it with a sprinter. Bennet should have no problem winning, I remember doing it with Dehaes f.e. in a Lotto carrier. It really isn't as selective as it looks.

It's more than 230kms long and has at least 5 real mountains including a mountain top finish. Definitely not a sprinter's race and I can't remember seeing this profile somewhere else. The real route was in the past two databases by the way, so it's obviously a mistake.

Another mistake, Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen and Driedaagse De Panne - Koksijde have the same starting date. De Panne - Koksijde should be between Gent - Wevelgem and Ronde van Vlaanderen.

EDIT: for anyone who wants to solve the De Panne problem, go to Stages in your db editor and do the following changes:

IDstage 1319: change day to 31;
2319: change day to 1 and month to 4;
3319: change day to 2 and month to 4;
4319: change day to 3 and month to 4.

Volta a Portugal is taking part from 08/30 to 08/10.

To fix this, go to Stages in Lachi's db editor and do the following changes:

IDstage 1167 & 2167: change month to 7.

Scratch that, now it crashes when trying to flick from May to June in the rider schedule calendar. What the hell?

Seriously nobody else with this issue? Guess I'll have to do a clean re-install

MartijnVDD
There are many bugs in the calendar. Besides the bugs mentioned above, Dwars Door Vlaanderen also has a wrong date. It's supposed to be 26th of March instead of 20th. Now it's taking place before Milan - San Remo.

does anybody have an idea to fix the purple fields when selecting a team in career mode?

You have installed it in the wrong folder. Try manually setting it to the folder you've installed PCM in, when you're installing. Wink

Teams showing a purple box instead of a jersey will all have the same jersey in the race. That is kind of awkward.

igor55
you're right, I looked to my pcm folders and I had 2 pcm 2014 folders, one in english and one in dutch Wink
