And Team Sky confirms the transfers of Cioni and Vigano.
And according to l'Equipe Wiggins finally signed for Team Sky.

Sadly, I can't find any indications on that. The average speed is still the same, the average watt output is also the same, and we still see weird, unexplainable blood values from Armstrong
I had a thought last night. Saying that the watt output is still the same and average speed is still the same, is that "old man",outdated thinking. There are plausible explanations for this: Better equipment, better roads, better diets for the riders, more scientific training, riders specializes their training, riders targeting certain races, riders racing less, all riders on a team wearing radios (and not just team leaders) which allow for quicker reaction times to chase breaks.

At least Wiggo's blood values aren't suspicious like Lance's "I'm doped values".

In 2006, they had all that, yet all the top riders were using a certain Mr. Fuentes as their "training advisor".
I don't know enough about the subject. The only thing that I can categorically deny is the thing about equipment. We had a discussion about it a while ago, and back then, the conclusion was that from c. 20 years to now, the effect of better equipment could barely be seen on the wattage output.

Not very surprisingly, Vaughters deny the rumour.

It certainly does.
I can't really see Wiggins coming out of this. As long as Garmin doesn't have a backup for Wiggins, there's no chance they will let him go.

quick question, does anyone know of a list (or can give an in-depth summary) of the good (or decent) riders still left on the market. I pretty much know where everyone is going, but its been so long since all the contract renewals were announced that I've forgotten pretty much everybody.
Also, anyone know the status of Dominique Rollin and Cervelo?
Edit: a quick look at his facebook page confirms he is still at Cervelo

I think at this point Wiggins need to go. Its pretty clear he wants to go, according to reports. So how does JV motivate him to be at his best? How does the rest of the team feel? At this point its about HOW MUCH Garmin can get for him... maybe thats what all the drama is about.

I see your point. Having an unsatisfied employee isn't optimal for neither the employee nor the employer.
I hope you're right. At this point, Team Sky is pretty mediocre GT-wise, but with Wiggins there, they have an acceptable team. Garmin still has Vandevelde and a Zabriskie who's seemingly becoming better at climbing from year to year.
We'll see
