Frederik Willmann continues talks with Skil-Shimano, with Skil confirming that they want to sign him. DS Rudi Kemna says they have lacked a GC rider for the larger stage races, and that they want to build a team around him. He says he might not be very prominent in next year's Tour, but maybe in a year or two.

For those who don't know him, Willmann (24 years old) is regarded the best climbing talent in Norway, at least with Hagen's talent uncertain on such terrain. Columbia has also shown interest, but he reckons he will get better support and chances at Skil. A contract is expected to be signed during the Worlds this week, where he is of course one of Norways 9 riders.

It's been all over Danish media today. Don't quite get why as it has already been mentioned weeks ago.

The fact they're talking isnt new, but now the UCI is threatening to take away Astana's PT lisence, so that Contador may be able to leave the team afterall.

I guess so. I heard their sponsors are willing to give more money to get a Tout top10 next year.

Quickstep's bike manager "Specialized" are putting extra money in the team because if Contador comes they can make special series & etc... So the money they put in they will get 10x back

Milram first signing for 2010
Luke Roberts --> Team Milram
dont understand why Milram doesnt get there fingers on talents like Kittel or austrian talent Brändle. is it really only because they cant offer contracts beyond 2010? Instead they are signing an old rider who is at least 3 years over his career zenith.

Also a lot to do with an anonymous survey of youth riders in Germany where 6.8% admitted to doping.
No doubt a much larger percentage also dope but won't admit to it. And you can see the problem.

Yes really. (I do his website btw)
He had an offer from Cofidis, but he preferred to go a step back. He had a bad luck the last 3 years (2 times broken elbow, this year pfeiffer), and he wants to rediscover cycling and stay out of sight for a while (racing the American circuit)

Want to know how the team ends up, look at Astana.
Too bad that good rider go there, they´ll be domestiques for Lance.
For most people it will be like Chelsea in football, they like the team because of some riders in there.
