In the middle of July of the first season I just signed a 2 year deal with Cofidis, after starting at Auber 93. It might be because my pro cyclist is a climber; Cofidis do not have many of those.
BONUS: They quite possibly move into the world tour as of the season I join them (they are right now the second best Pro Continental/Continental team), which would be awesome.

What happens if I run out of points to modify my calendar later in my career (when I will not be able to gain more of them because of highest possible lever)? Is there a certain level at which you can decide freely on your calendar?
I signed with Giant and they gave me a poor calendar. Despite being stage racer with my main strength being MO, I got a lot of flat or even cobbled races in my calendar and not many races with real mountains. This is even more interesting considering the fact I'm 2nd best climber in the team. I'm now slightly afraid to use my points to modify my calendar because I don't want to run out of them later in my career when I will be at a GT-podium level.

Realistic.
From 2021 to 2027 I got 150.000 euros in salary, but now I had to renew it in 2027. No teams wanted to sign me at 150.000 - not even 6.500. I had to get down to 3.000 euros to get a contract.
I have won the Tour five times - including this season, my stats havn't downgraded yet and I am 31 years old.
Disappointing.

Your rider is old now and maybe there are better riders.
But does it really matter? It's just a game and the money cannot be used anyway.

I am in top 2 in the Tour each year, so that can be the answer

From what I've read earlier in this thread, you don't have any influence on it. Sometimes you'll get train from your team if you're the stage favourite.
And HEY, please someone answer this soon, it's important for me. Will I be able to negotiate my calendar when I run out of the points after reaching the maximum level?

You'll get points each season based on your level. When you used those up, you have to wait until next season, unless you get a levelup.

Maybe this question had already been discussed but I saw that some of you have been pro in a U23 team as Chambery CF, how can we do that ? I only have proposal for CT or PCT. Thanks in advance for your help

Hi,
After 4 seasons the teams has changed, their names and shirts.
Is there a way to reset this?
I like to ride with the normal teams and not the fantasy teams

This is a change, and the U23 teams were removed in patch 1.2.0.0, as far as I know.

The inflation of talent can be really annoying. I came back to the race I was doing one year earlier and I can barely repeat my performance despite vastly improved skills, because opposition is improving at the quick rate at the beginning of the career too.
And funny transfer thing. When Cannondale were relegated to PCT, they kept most of their best riders and hired some new good riders (Amador, D. Caruso, Poels) so they were easily back to WT next season, but they lost most of their top riders when they came back to WT so they may be facing relegation again. AI can't react on promotion/relegation thing properly, apparently.

The race levels or the character levels?
Race levels are viewable in the race planning screen.
Character levels I know of are, without remembering the exp gain from them. Feel free to correct me where I may be wrong.
Breakaway, 25, 50 and 100, 150 km (also possibly 200) in a single race/stage. Only available once in your career.
First ever win. Only once.
First ever continental race win. Only once.
First continental jersey worn. Once per season.
First continetal jersey won. Once per season.
First pro tour race win. Once per season.
First pro tour jersey worn. Once per season.
First pro tour jersey won. Once per season.
Those are all I can remember at the moment. People should feel free to expand or correct as I may be forgetting some or be incorrect about some.
Do anyone know of more achievements?

you get that for each race category, although i've never had any of the ones above 50, even though i've done longer breakaways, which is weird.
However, equally weird, i seem to have got that several times for the same category of race, but there's so many subtle categories that i might have got confused. My feeling is that the achievements get re-set when you go up a level but i'm far from certain

Either this or it is re-set when you close the game and open it again. I'm fairly certain I've been awarded experience points multiple times for exactly the same thing.

Regarding the progression system. I was under the impression that training harder increases the rate of progression. I've done some testing and it seems the rate is fixed, other than bonuses you get from certain achievements. I simulated a rider with 1 day of training a week and the other on maximum, and the rider on easy leveled 1 week earlier because he got a bonus for taking part in a conti race. I assumed that if the training doesn't influence rate, then it must influence the increase in traits. However, there wasn't much of a difference between the 2, only in terms of how the points were spread. This seems very weird.

Does the Pro Cyclist ever decrease? I am 34 year old now and haven't experienced it yet.

Also, gotten the chance to retire yet?

1 Giro
7 Tour
5 Vuelta
2 WC ITT
5 Pais Vasco
5 Dauphiné
No, I haven't. I think that I just continue riding without a decrease, actually. But I don't know.
