Hi.
In my game I can only see the group/cyclists in wich my rider is... for instance if I have a breakaway, I can't move the camera/view to this group... is it like this?
For instance if I'm in a breakaway it would be simpler to see who is chasing me.
Second question
Am I penalized if I don't follow the director orders? For instance... don't attack and I do?
Thank you friends.
first Q yes if real life you only see group
and second i dont know

I'm going to do a stupid question, but are you too old for the races?
Good question, but no. My rider is 19.
In my frist game I have been in all NC races in the firstb3.seasons!
And the other is in second now, and are NOT in the NC racesn

My pro never gets selected to the national team U23 races (Ncup). I've had the Roompot ZLM tour, the Course de la Paix and a couple of one-day races in my race schedule, and clearly visible on the training screen, but I didn't get to ride them.
My rider is a Swedish stage racer and I'm using the basic realname database. When I check the results from the races I see that Sweden participated in the races but with three donkeys who had no chance of making good results.
Am I missing something? Should I confirm my participation somewhere (other than the normal race schedule)?
Tour de l'Avenir is coming up and I would really like to ride that...
The NCup is for national teams and Sweden don't have enough riders registered. That's why you don't get selected. You can register for the race by clicking the empty circle in the normal race schedule, assuming you have points left, but when you get to the race it will probably say something like 4 out of 6 riders signed up for the race, you need at least 6 riders. You'll have to use an editor and either add new swedish riders, convert a few of the existing young talents into swedish riders or add the race to an existing riders schedule ( for example Fredrik Ludvigsson who's probably not registered ). The riders has to born in 1993 or later ( for the first season ).
I'm also using a Swedish stage racer and had to do the above to get to race the NCup races. I won Tour de l'Avenir and the U23 rankings by the way.

I'm not sure that's the problem
As you can see in this picture my rider is registered for the Tour de l'Avenir in the schedule.
However, as you can see in this picture, the Tour de l'Avenir is not visible in the calender.
And as you can see in this picture, Sweden does participate in the Tour de l'Avenir with three riders.

My "experiment" is really going great and I can only advise it to everyone: play every stage.
Playing every stage (with a puncher) really offers interesting gameplay. I've won stages I never would've played before, like a 80 km criterium in the Shanghai Tour, just outlasting the peloton on the line.
Also a emberassing moment in the Tour of Wallonie when I thought I had won and raised my arms but then Rodriguez passed me. Wonderful finish photo, though, 2 guys celebrating together
Though I'm playing it as discussed in this thread before by others: realistic. Not going full gas in every single race. Don't always breakaway or go for every sprint etc...

So just played mi first national championship, since I have just played be a pro almost and always been Norwegian ofc and then could not play NC. Before now with the PCMdaily DB.
But, how is the NC for you guys? For me its like the old PCM games, breakaway = win. Just even worse, I think the screenshot will explain itself...
So just the breakeaway got to finish the stage since the gap was so big to the peloton...

Yep, still the old issue.
Doesn't seem a priority to fix, and I think it'd be a quite hard thing to fix as well, since you'd have to adjust the whole AI so that they behave well in smaller fields, which could be harder than you think, since it'd impact normal AI as well.

Has anyone tried to play this mode with a real rider? It's pretty easy to take control of one by editing the savegame, but I don't know how buggy the gameplay will be.

I'm in my third season of playing. Astana has in its roster Nibali, Aru, Pinot and Kelderman and they are all riding at the Giro d'Italia. Is there a way to tweak the DB and make them ride at different tours? I'm talking about next season.

I created a northern classics specialist rider and just cant seem to win a race where all top cobblestone riders are present...
In my third year, I have some good stats - Cobb - 85; Flat - 82; stamina - 76; Res - 70. However, all top races end with a sprint and I have no chance there with my SPR 68. Usually it is won by Sagan, Debenkolb and alike. When I try to go on a breakaway at the end - either with an attack or using dot - others are still able to follow me (although I have won a couple of 1HC races that way).
I am trying to create an all round classics specialist. Unfortunately, with my HILL 77 I cannot follow the proper elite punchers, and neither I cannot win any top cobble races...

That is why I did it the other way...I train sprint before I train hills...have 76on sprint now and 65 on hills and not started to train hills before now..

Yep, that's what I should have done. Instead, I assumed that I would be able to win with high flat and cobble stats (i.e. to be like Cancellara). It seems however that all those sprinters with cobble 80 can keep up with my cobble 85 and then overtake me at the finish.

Does anybody knows, if the problem with the U23 teams, that the teams are not correct, and it can not find out about the teams and stuff?
F.eks., I am Denmark and it does not know that I ride for Denmark, it says Sky?

Started off as a 19 year old hill climber and concentrated much early training to sprint ability. My aim was a rider like a Kweatkowski/Sagan with decent sprint, very high acceleration and strong downhilling. I hate suffering yellow bar depletion on flats and like to win races with clever stamina strategy (both endurance). The rider would usually finish in between positions 4-10 in sprints in the lowest division sprints (with sprint ratings between 67-70).
At present in my 4th season I am at level 22 and rating 81 flat lands, 80 mountains, 85 hills, 73 TT and Prologue, 79 sprint, 82 acceleration, 82 downhill, 79 cobbles, stamina and resistance of 83. My last 2 levels have seen my stamina, flat lands, cobbles and hills around 1 point each to get me to be a beast!!!!! Hopefully I can challenge for Robaix this year and get Flanders again (and some revenge in Amsil Gold).
This is amazing. Can you try to explain how you excactly did it?

i won tdf-vuelta in season 5 and now in season 6 i'll try to win all 3 grand tours
it's really hard because the best stage racers and climbers are gathered in sky team with simon yates, froome, mikel landa, bardet and others
mikel landa was my biggest opponent and he will be in this season too
i wished to give him some downhill improvement but at training whatever i choose some stats i can't improve
even with my weak downhill stat i attacked on last climb at milan san remo and i kept sprinting on downhill and i won it with half of wheel against bouhanni

In my 3rd season now as a stage racer and in Cannondale. BMC have been taken over by Burger King, so wont expect great results from them Also PCMDaily have taken over for JLT Condor.
@Superider2010 Thats a weird salary.
