Anyone know if there's a cap on skills, or if it maybe tied to the level? My mountain stat has not increased for 2.5 years despite training as climber, puncher and stage racer for most of that period. I'm at 80 MO. 80 is not bad but there is like 15 riders that are stronger and in a grand tour I usually go up against one or two with 83 or 84.

You still have stat limits, yes. You can see them/edit them with an editor

Hello there, I started with a german time trialist, but the first time trial at the three stage U23 tour constantly crashes. Anyone else has this problem or any idea how to fix that?

Have you played other stages? Maybe your settings are too high?

Don´t understand the progression of the skills. Sometime i got 2 pts, some 1, sometime 0 as a stage specialist for mountain.
Also often 0 for TT or hills.
Can somebody explain this?

Its random.
If you expect linear progression then it's
a) unrealistic
b) in the long run, very boring and predictable.
Real life progression is not linear either.

huh, then I'm not alone in this one.
I'm also having that problem and trying to do exactly the same thing. Anyone tried to train in hills and got good boosts on it?
edit: alright, next level I got a +2 on mountain and on hills. So keep trying

I did try to experiment on which races I drove in 2017, and I tried only to take part in the hilly races (of course a few flat and mountains, but i guess you get the idea). i got +1 in hill, but also in mountain, and at that point i was 79 mountain and 73 hills.
Its a little annoying, and i get figure out if im doing something wrong, f.ex. if i started with too much mountain without training hills and others, or it is a bug..

How do people manage to have a good first season as a sprinter?... I started with stamina att 57 or something so I normally either have no energy left before the sprint or cant even keep up with the front of the peloton...

You didn´t understand the problem:
When i train hill, i want to get + in hill, when i train mountain, i want to get mountain points, and yes, when i train stage, i want to get the promised points, somewhere ...

Yes, i did, no problems in any other stage (playes like 10 or so so far). I even started this stage with every setting the lowest it can be, still crashes.
Any other TT (I tried three different ones) work perfectly, maybe it has someting to do with my be a pro or so.

Ok, installed the game on Friday and....i spent like 10-15 hours with "Be a Pro" already and quite loving it.
My slovakian stage racer ( i wont say name because Ian would be mad). is in the middle of his second year on extreme difficulty. First year went pretty well with czech team AWT-Greenway where i have won three consecutive stages and overall at Tour d L'Avenir and several other GC podiums in U23 mountain races.
Then i have switched to Cult Energy cycling team and slowly is getting used to continental racing with several top10s in races like Criterium Internacional or Bayern Rundfahrt. I am currently on a good way to earn a white jersey on HC Tour of Austria, which would mean a gained entry to WT races for my 3rd season. That will be again in new colours of Lotto Soudal, where i should join Cavendish, Roelandts and Wellens as the star of the team. That will mean we wshould have a leader for every terrain, asi am pretty complete stage racer now and next year can be already time of WT top10s for me, opening the path to Giro or Vuelta.
Main stats are:
MO:76
HI:75
TT:75
ACC:70
REC:76
Obviously it is still PCM so i am getting annoyed by the same things like always, but still the new game mode is great fun. I can see a lot of things to improve, but majority of these were already mentioned - giving orders to teammates (sometimes 7 guys are just watching me try doing nothing), being able to spend money (but no for stats, maybe some fancy bikes or so?).
I have not touched anything outside of this mode yet.

Levels don´t matter, they also could have done unlimited levels,
but Lachis Editor 2015 shows that you have statslimits on all the stats. so you can level but maybe you can´t get any stats upgraded anymore. ow and also every career has a random limits of stats, even if you have the same speciality, it´s not the same.
