Oh it seems to show the profile ok today
Also, is there a limit to what PCM can handle in terms of stage length? I remember trying to make a 350km classic a while ago and it didn't work.

There's limit in case of the gpx-file, you want to use for a stage.. If I remember right, the limit is around 220km.. but it's a matter of what kind of route you use.. if it's an almost completely straight route, without any bigger turns, it's not possible to do a 350km classic.. but it's still possible, if you add some loops, for example. The PCM-editor only can't handle too big gpx-files, the map is limited to something around 220km.

Ah ok, thanks.
Another problem here. Trying to make the final climb gravel + a narrow road. Whatever I do with splines and adding junctions, it just makes the whole route gravel.
Anyway, can somebody quickly just do that for me pleease? Here's the file.

Hi all,
I have a similar problem to luckyman before me. When I select my own Ronde van Vlaanderen in classic mode the game crashes. I've put both the zces and the cds file in the correct folder (Cyanide/PCM/CM_Stages) and named them like the old RVV race. Could the problem be that mine has is a 45 km circuit that is done 5 times? Can't find any mistakes in the editor, even exported it again.
Any help would be appreciated.

How can you solve the problem ''Bad Route Slope [25,-25]''?
Thanks

Check the position of the error and then you have to move the waypoints in this area. If the height of one is 200m (z-axis) and the next one is 400m but jsut 20m of way, then the slope is higher than 25%. So you have to move them that they are something like 200 and 240 for example. This also means that you have to mvoe more than two probably to get a consant and realistic slope.

Can you also have audio commentary in the stage?

I placed the raod I think from 2km away from blue starting line and it still says it is impossible to add object. What I am doing wrong ?

You should make the zone behind the finish also part of the race. then you can place your finish
prevent hangovers --> stay drunk
pozzato, basically the most stupid cyclist around

I got that part. But now I added start and placed the start line but I can't see the startline as the object only the flag and when i close up only the road. Also in the tutorial it said that i can change name of start and finish type. Where to go to do that ?

You need to zoom in more to be able to see the startline / finish. To change the name of them, go to "Route", then click "Sprint" in the upper toolbar.

You can change the type of finish at the same place as I posted above. Just add a finish and you will be able to change it.

Road overlap is when you have two waypoints too close to each other. Delete the waypoints sitting too close to each other and you should be fine.

Is it possible to make the profile first and than to design the roads? Like in the older versions of the stage Editor.
The new one is great if you are making real life stages but it's rather difficult to create fictional stages.

No. You first have to set the road. But why is it harder to make fictional stages?
You can use bikeroutetoaster or bikemap to create the route before. There you see the profile with every change you make.
