If you can`t see any single object, press ALT and search that way for a bigger area. You`ll find anything.

When you click the button, does it put you anywhere near the intersection thats not an intersection? I have a theory that it sometimes throws those errors for roads as well. Especially single 'point' roads that dont go anywhere.

Have you tried it by clicking ALt and make a box around this area? Normally you should find a waypoint then.

Its not finding the waypoint it doesnt like that is the problem.
Its finding what it doesnt like about the waypoint, which is the problem

Ive deleted the towns/cities I had surrounding the 4 points in question, and tried to make various changes - no luck.
So Ive uploaded what Ive got. If somebody could take a look and try to figure out the spline object errors, that would be great

And on an unrelated note - is there any way to make criteriums where a lap is less than 20km?
I can think of a lot of circuit races where the lap is less than 20km, but the game seems to want 20km to have passed before you use a stretch of road for a 2nd time.

Yep, there's no limit on criterium's length.
20 kms thingy concerns riding same way on different directions - you need at least 20 kms of gap between riding same route back and forth.

Apologies if this has been asked, but when ever I go to place a start and finish line, it always says "impossible to add object" how can I fix this.
Also, are there any good tutorials.

The start needs to be at least 2km after the start of your checkpoints, and the finish needs to be at least 2km before the end of your checkpoints.
The only tutorials on the Cyanide PCM forum are in French - but I did use Google Translate on a pdf file they had: https://www.mediafire.com/?awww1zgt2cl
As an internet translation, the english quality isnt great, but you should be able to get the gist of what its saying.

I edited your stage, now all spline objects are deleted. On 4 crossroads you had 3 directions but another startwaypoint to the 4th direction. Next time if this happens, you have to click on the shown waypoint. On the red and green lines you`ll see which direction is active at the moment. If you click several times it will always change. IF there are spline description errors there will be clicks without any green line. All directions are red. That means that there is a new start waypoint without a direction so just delete this waypoint. Bad thing is that you delete this part of your route, so you have to delete the whole route click by click and set a new one again. I already did this for you.
Next time just check the stage before setting the route. Happens to me quite often that I set my route and then I have a error and have to delete it again

Here is another English tutorial, not sure if it`s already here.

could you please advise me on how to load a proper map into the editor, one which shows all the roads and cities and rivers? i've created a couple of routes from gpx files, and while the elevation and the routes are ok, i find it pretty time consuming to create a realistic road/city/water network while switching windows between the editor and googlemaps.
i also find it difficult to create realistic mountain stages, especially when it comes to tight mountain passes. most of the times it gives an error if i try to use the real route from the gpx file (road overlaps), also the road turns out be too steep pretty often. i tried using one-lane roads, but then the peloton gets pretty stretched-out, and it's a major pain in the ass to bring water to my riders up front on such sections.

When I build Cities they never show up in game. I just make them as if it was a forrest aso, but I can´t see any cities in 3d. I´m about to make Post Danmark rundt, and I want the peloton to start in a city and pass several minor villages on the road. How to make cities?

You need to click the 'Rebuild' button on cities.
But just so you know, Post Danmark Rundt has already been made https://www.pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthr...d_id=13157

Had a play with the stage editor, and didnt find it easy to use i must say. I tried building a route, put some forest and water alongside, added a castle or 2 and as i was playing around testing stuff out it crashed.
A simple explanation of how to make a simple stage would have been good. Then i could build my skills up from there.

I can´t use the stage editor anymore, it crashes all the time, it happened from yesterday evening. I havn´t installed the beta patch but can it be that the game has done it by it self? i have never experienced that the game has asked me bout installing patches allways have to do it manually. I have read that the beta patch make the stage editor crash. It´s pretty anoying if you can´t decide by yourself if you want to install a bug making beta patch.
