The game lagged and auto picked Etixx and and my riders for me :C Kittel was never going to survive the climb
I normally never play multiplayer but there is no reason to be playing career with the awful objectives changes and now even multiplayer doesn't work

If the servers allow it then Edward Theuns (Trek Segafredo) will be playing some PCM 16 with me over at www.cyclinghub.tv... in 20 minutes. Come say hi!

Wow, 2 crashes to desktop today, dunno why.
Edit: Make that 3, two from selecting Pro Cyclist mode. Actually since downloading the new Expansion pack I can't get on Pro mode.

Hey guys. I can't remember the last PCM game I played. It was a long while back though.
So considering I'll be jumping into these updated games a newbie. Is 16 worth the purchase over 15? I see people who own 15 are disappointing with 16. I guess, does 16 contain enough content over 15 and is it more or less a better experience for out of the loop players like me?

I know PCM is usually plagued with issues at launch, but this year seems a little different when you consider the basically non-existant marketing and seemingly general lack of care. they had for the game.
Does anyone think that maybe Cyanide are looking to move away from PCM and become a more 'serious' studio? For example, they're currently working on a game called 'Call of Cthullu' as well as a new Styx game (the first did relatively well). They're both very serious projects - if Cthullu releases and is well recepted, it could be a breakthrough game for Cyanide. I personally don't think that they'd keep going with PCM if they 'hit it big'.

I am pretty sure that different people are working on those games. If they are successful with games like Styx and Cthullu, they would hire more people most probably, and not give up on PCM.
Did anybody ever ask freire from Cyanide how many people the PCM team consist of?

Of course, but my reasoning was that they're not a very big studio and that they're working on two much bigger games already alongside PCM; they would more than likely have had a much higher priority. If I didn't play PCM, i'd have no idea who they were.

huh, I was kinda wondering the opposite in that after the big addition of Pro Cyclist mode last year and the total overhaul of the gameplay when climbing that they seemed to be delivering big changes the last couple of years or at least attempting them and that doesn't strike me as something a company that is about to pull out of a franchise would do.
That said I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't totally happy with how the climbing overhaul has gone and are being quiet on purpose. Like when Football Manager moved over to a new Match Engine I think it's going to take a year to get this major change polished so it is 100% working as intended but those 2 big changes 1 year after another suggest they still care enough about the series to make these big changes and are not just updating things without adding anything new to it.
Now I've got to say that I haven't yet bought this years game (and probably won't until after the first big daily DB is released as I can't start a career without it and that's mainly what I play) so don't know how the overhaul to Mountains/Hills gameplay plays out. From what I've heard about the change it sounds like it's got a lot of potential but I imagine that it's the kind of big change that would be hard to get right for the first game it's introduced in and I would expect it to play better the second year once they've realised the kinks in the new system and had the time to refine it.
