a few ideas that could increase the game a lot:
Idea: fix the cyclists role system for races
Explaination of idea: as a sprinter, you only get the team to work for you if you are in the top3, maybe top5 favourites for the race, but if you are the strongest rider you get selected for the leader role, and the guy that should be your lead out man is selectedd as the sprinter, and in this case since the lead out man isnt probably in the favourites for the day the team doesnt work for you to win the stage, only to defend the GC position.
Another example is that there is no dedicated KOM role or a "go in the breakaway for sponsor visibility" role
Why: in career mode this doesnt bring so many problems to your team, but it does confuses the AI controlled teams, wich can then generate comments on broken AI, when is he cyclist role system that interferes with the race AI. but in be a pro mode this is a must since you cant control your team mates, if you want more info on the subject i will explain more

Idea: new celebrations, movement mechanics to the riders and new race comments
Explaination of idea: probably have less keybindings to celebration, but have more diversified one, i can only percieve 3 types (both arms up, right arm higher then left, left arm higher then right), where is sagan jumping celebratio, contador pistol, and others.
diferent types of riding styles and atacks, like from that is always setead, contador always out of the saddle, cadel evens that climbed in the drops, voecler that does that weird dance and so much more.
even sprinting styles with cavendish head down sprint, dengenkolb that looks like he is hammering something, greipel i take a lot of space sprint
new comments this ones are outdated and over used, there is one in particulary that pisses me of, the fall comment it always say "the leader is on the ground", it should be more like "a team leader is on the ground". "The Leader" assumes the race leader.
Why: it gives a different vibe to the game and a more immersive and realistic expirience.

Idea: changes to be a pro rider evolution
Explaination of idea: maybe cut the evolution in half and then give some use to the money you earn to buy extra stats to place where you want instead of the full random points system we have now
Why: gives more control to the player in wich aspects you train yourself

Idea: use a stat for how easy/difficult it is to gain/loose position on the pack or in the sprint train
Explaination of idea: probablylink it to a mix between combativity and descent, since riders with good descent are more tehcnical and can get positions with less effort and combative riders are more likelly to hold a position by fighting for it
Why: in cycling its important to have a good positioning and there is always a big fight for the best places, so it would be more realistic

Idea: change buttons functions and add some more functions
Explaination of idea: maybe allow the follow button to always be up, and if you are following a team mate your team mate will automatically protect you as an secondary function.
the protect function should be allowed to more then 1 rider, some teams have 2 or 3 guys protecting the leadder and they surround him so no one can touch him.
allow to have a couple riders in rotation in the pack working while the others follow that group of 2 or 3 riders, like old USPosta used to race and now sky, even Astana back when they had contador and armstrong in the team, and so on.
add a work button to ask other to work while in the breakaway, they can tell you to work and help but you cant tell them? that is weird
Why: again more realism and more tactical aproach to both sprinting trains, and even the ability to create a mountain train.

Idea: new functions to be a pro mode
Explaination of idea: being able to discuss the role you will have in the team when discussing the contract, being able to discuss your objectives with the team, discussion of the team path to follow for the next years if you are one of the team leader
Why: more realism and more in depth aproach to this new mode

Idea: bring back the team sponsor talks from older pcm games where you could specify the type of team you wanted to have and the sponsors objectives would reflect that
Explaination of idea: and in this idea maybe add more objectives like being in the breakaway to give sponsor more TV tie wich would then reflect in a bigger budget and a bigger status to the sonsor if you sucesseded in giving him a certain amount of kms in a breakaway in the bigger races
Why: more realism and better use for time-trialists and combative type riders even some of the pavé specialists during a season

Idea: bring the TDF game mechanics to PCM timetrials
Explaination of idea: maybe use the TDF trajectory system applied to the timetrials, specially prologs. if you are not controling the rider you get the standard line, but if you are controling it you get to chose his trajectory to try and gain seconds over the oposition
Why: first of to make it more fun, i have to be honest, timetrials are the most boring part of the game. secondly it brings some more realism in to the game, after all the perfect line and braking less really makes a huge difference in timetrials and not only the rider stat in timetrials.

Idea: remove brands entirely from equipment
Explaination of idea: if they are not going to use real brand names why make different equipment at all with crazy brand names? just focus on having the 3D models look the part without the names on the equipment
Why: this wouldnt brake the agreements on equipment name and wouldnt make them pay for using real brand names and would make it easier for the modders to edit the files, just slap the right name on the equipment and its good to go.
