@Nielsboy
Why don't you sign up a team as well(in the other thread). Some good teams(Colombia, Vini Fantini f.e)'are still available

You make it sound as if we are not even trying, since Mvhoogdalen's first list I've sent an offer to everyone, but they've all said no.

At the same time it’s nothing to be surprised about.
The age difference between riders made this situation, when several teams have no riders and several riders have no team.
A 18 years old rider is a decent rider, but almost every team in Pro Continental level have something as good or even better than that (for a WT team a 18 years old is just ballast), while a 23 years old rider could be among the best riders at Pro Continental level.
Let’s take for instance Kim Po-Ding or Lue Khamse Khamphan from Europcar. The first one is better than any other stage race rider from Pro Continental level, while Khamphan in one of the best cobble riders from Pro Continental level. I don’t accuse anyone, I just point that you won’t see any 18 or 19 years old rider rivaling with them.
The age difference is too big, because the attributes sum between a 18 years old and a 23 years old is 75 ! A 18 years old rider with 70 MON, 70 HIL, 70 TT and 70 PRO would be at 23 years 79 MON, 79 HIL, 77 TT and 77 PRO, leaving all the other stats aside. The difference is huge ! I would chose that the young riders be only 21 years old, for example, so no important difference in attributes sum and without young monsters.
You would say that a 18 years old rider would be like a 23 years one in 5 season, and I don’t argue with that. Just that I see a lot of pessimism about this game reaching 5 season. Personally I would like that the game last the longest as possible, it would be really nice that this game make it until the 30th season or even more. I really like the idea and I hope to become even a reporter after I see how it’s done. I have experience with on-line sport managers, where you get a young rider and you keep training him until he gets old and retires. I have an experience of more than 20 seasons with a cycling manager and 16 seasons with a rugby manager, so when I start a game I usually like it to go further and further.
It’s just the differences between custom riders are too big and give the sensation that not every team will start from the same basis. That’s the reason for the current situation in my opinion.
But I hope we will start the game as soon as possible to get over the beginning organizational issues.

Ok, that's 4 riders left. Only one PM from riders, so if team managers want one of the four, PM me and let me know which ones you want and how many spots you have available.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Ylvo Chelyakov signs for Accent Jobs
It was a busy day at TMM Sports Management trying to secure the best deal for it's remaining rider Ylvo Chelyakov. Following a long period with no interest, and in fact being actively rejected by a few teams and actively ignored by a few more, three late offers spiced things up.
The CT teams all put up decent arguments and offers, but Accent Jobs made the best sale and already had in place the needed support system to aid Ylvo's transition into Europe and the professional peloton.
Things at one stage became very complicated when it became apparent that he could sign for Astana. The possibility was put forward, and was very seriously considered by he rider. It took a good deal to poach him away from the Kazakh team.
Ylvo is now expecting good things this season targeting some good time trial results and looking to develop this area as well as his cobbles ability. The reign of Spartacus is fading here comes Cheli!

@Nielsboy I mean you should apply for managing a team
@LLDS I see what you mean.
But I don't think I did something wrong, I just made my team as strong as possible, and I didn't sign a lot of unrealistic nationalities either(Neighbouring countries of France, 2nd market(Asia) and 1 Scandinavian(which wouldn't fit in almost any team))

In fact Europcar is the biggest Car rental company on Iceland, so that would justify the signing in its own right.
And I don't really find it that unrealistiv either (except that the 23-year olds are very strong). How many 18-year old riders are actually included on these teams IRL?

Jesleyh, I don't accuse you of anything. On the contrary, I admire your ability to sign good riders. Good to you ! They are your riders and you won them fair.
I just bring to attention that the differences betwen the 18 y and the 23 y old riders are very big, and the custom riders can create a big gap.
I didn't say it was your fault. I used Europcar in my example because you posted the team, and I have it on front of my eyes. That's all.
